So, this is kind of getting into some of what I was talking about yesterday. These are all the same measure transcribed in different ways (ignore 8vb). #1 for me reads more like an outline #2 for me is like a sketch #3 is like the drawing itself You can add and fluidly interpret with less detail.

2 cups of mango juice 1 cup of strawberries 1 cup of fruit medely (mango, pineapple, peach, banana) 3 tablespoons of yogurt It was well-recieved! But I'm worried it's not healthy enough. The problem is the lack of veggies, fruits are an easy sell. Not that it's bad, but...can it be more healthy?

I'm really glad I was able to collect the rainwater for the plants. At least if they can't get too much sun inside, they can have nutritious water. I have a sample garden of stuff I can potentially grow (missing: pineapple), so I'm thinking of using it as a kind of guide and changing some stuff.

Potential garden layout. I hate asparagus, zucchini, and pumpkin, so that's not happening. Nobody needs that many onions. I prefer mustard greens to collard greens.
...lots of tweaks to this plan are needed.

The area we set up inside for the plants. I hope they can still get some sun, but we'll keep the light on at least. The black thing is a plastic garbage bag, and the white thing is like a...sheet or something?

We brought in all the plants! My little guys are hiding behind the pineapples because they're so small, lol
We have 13 total right now of various kinds.

I found the rake! I'll clean up the yard next week provided the weather will not be miserable. I also go to put the rainwater collection station to use! The two bottles are new. I tried to filter the water using paper towels, but I just made a mess...

I tried to use paper towels to filter the rainwater. Do not recommend. It was both messy and wasteful.

I collected a shockingly small amount of rainwater! I guess it's more that the water is spread out than the depth of the pan. I'll have to add more stuff out there...

Somehow the two bowls had no water in them after the rain... Also, I need to clean up that junk pile. The to-do list is going to keep growing...

More plants! The green onions and pineapples! They were confirmed to be pineapples. Why are there so many? I don't know.

I have an idea of what to do, but I need like $100 for the equipment, so that's going to wait until later on. Hopefully Feb. Anyway, here's some selected photos. The patio, some random tree/bush that I don't know what to do with, and my little lettuce and mustard greens!

I kinda had to hurry because I didn't want to get rained on, but about 1.5 hours later, this is what I was able to get done. Still need to rake, but I did move the blue bag after the first pic. (It sure didn't feel like 1.5 hours. My arms and back are still sore..)

Back yard, but I picked up the random stuff (yes, I did go back for the soil bag).

Patio, but I (kinda) pulled up the weeds and swept the top and put the junk i a pile to the side and made a rainwater collection station in the middle. Also a pile of cut weeds and stuff in the foreground.

The plants a little more organized in the foreground, but the fire ant pile is still in the back. I don't know what to do about it...

I didn't show it, but there were a lot of random things on these chairs and table. I'm not sure why the cutting board is out here, but I'll let it be because I don't know if they want it in the house...

Today, I wanted to test some coverage things because I saw on YouTube that coverage was important. I wanted to try a natural method with leaves (from the front yard) and cardboard (thanks Costco!) The problem was the weather and that I couldn't find the rake that was used for the front yard...

Two bags of leaves from the front yard (they were left for trash pickup). Apparently, they just teleported into the bags because I couldn't find the rake anywhere...

So, my task for the day was to organize and tidy up and maybe test some simple things and basically get used to using tools and stuff. I will say, Animal Crossing did not prepare me for how difficult it was to dig a hole or pull up weeds...

In an attempt to pull up the weeds, I was twisting them with the shovel clampy thing. The result was that I made "twisty grass," lol.

A hole I dug earlier with the shovel clampy things for a coverage experiment.

The same hole but filled with leaves. Will see what's going on in there later.

We were already growing things in the yard, but I want the whole yard to be growing things. Here are some of our plants.

Now, not only am I a complete beginner, but I also do not have a lot of tools. I am working on fixing both of those, but we all have to start somewhere.

Very rusty clippers trying to keep me from finding the less rusty and actually usable clippers underneath.

Two mismatched "garden gloves," one of which I am positive isn't a garden glove and will probably end up ripping...
