Day 11 Solstober: Tenacity “You think as the 'hero' of Penglai, you can just waltz in here and do as you please? You've forgotten who you're talking to... I am still queen... you are in my domain... And I won't let you have your way!” #ninesols #九日 #solstober #ninesolsoc #九日oc #artsky

Manga-like page of Lear engaging in combat with Lady Jie (Jua). In a separate panel, Jua is in a fighting stance, one hand held up to her ear to command the floating blades that surround her, the other engulfed in black flame, a crimson attack.

Lear is in his own fighting stance, his hand glowing with Qi. There’s a cut on his cheek, implying the queen had already struck him for his insolence.

Doing a challenge called Solstober by Gensational (Twitter) Day 1. Roots #NineSols #九日 #ninesolsoc #九日oc #artchallenge #solstober #artsky

A female solarian sits with her arms stretched out as if welcoming something, wearing a joyous expression. The opposite end, many tendril-like roots reach for her ready to embrace her.

Molded with time Reforged through agony What difference did it make? Change is change And it was time to be reborn from the ashes of who she once was #ninesols #九日 #ninesolsoc ##九日oc #solstober

Jua surrounded by fire, holding her hands together in a prayer-like gesture. Despite the flames, her expression is tranquil and calm. In the fire, the shape of a phoenix glows, signifying her rebirth into someone new

Day 7 Solstober: Gift "Widow, Oh Weeping Widow... Please accept this humble offering, in exchange for those I love to be returned to nature..." #ninesols #ninesolsoc #九日 #九日oc #solstober #sketches

Greyscale image of a little solarian girl presenting something to The Weeping Widow. They both stand in a body of water, mist surrounding them. The little girl keeps her head bowed as she holds up the doll, while the widow kneels closer to the child's level, her face obscured by the shade of her hat, one of her eyes seeming to glow underneath

"If you succeed in finding the widow to plead for your deceased loved ones, be humble... be respectful..."

Close up of the gift the child is offering. It is a doll, and the widow's hand reaches forward, accepting the gift.

"It also wouldn't hurt to offer her a gift."

i love being able to doodle things that i find funny

messy sketch of Jua (Nine Sols OC) holding Lear in her arms, giving him some tender aftercare after messing him up (sexually)

A Fusang root is peeking from the side holding a cigarette as if satisfied. You're free to draw your own conclusions.

Day 4 Solstober: Cruelty Imagine being barred from the afterlife, and the only way to move on is to appease a person you wronged who might not be in a forgiving mood. #ninesols #ninesolsoc #九日 #九日oc #solstober

Greyscale illustration of Liǔ (Nine Sols OC) looming over a spirit of a solarian, stomping her foot on his head. Her face is shadowed out, but a close-up panel shows her eye, peering out from her wild hair, holding nothing but rage and contempt to this villager that is pleading for her forgiveness.

Solstober Day 2: Idolize. Don't know how many I'll do but gonna try when inspiration strikes! #solstober #ninesols #ninesolsoc #九日 #digitalart

Image of a child Jua with her great aunt Xiwang (Nine Sols OCs). They stand in a body of water, the perspective slightly above them so Xiwang towers above little Jua. Her white fur, sleeves, and accents seem to glow, and she has a gentle expression as she reaches over to Jua, about to pet her head, while her niece looks up at her with admiration and wonder

Starting the month off with a spooky gal 💀 🍁 In present day, she is called the Tea Maker. Older folks know her by her original name; The Weeping Widow. A real solarian, or just a character from ancient folklore? No one really knows. #ninesols #ninesolsoc #九日 #digitialart

Image of my solarian sona, Liǔ, perching on a Fusang tendril, while others coil and weave all around. She holds a staff in one hand, and one of the roots slither into her other hand. A teapot sits on her knees.

In the all black background, the ghostly image of a skull with glowing red eyes can be seen hovering over the woman

Image of a character named Sori, kneeling in a pumpkin pacth, wearing a black nightgown with lace trim, and matching lacy panties with red trim. She poses playfully, her arms adjusting her black witch hat.

In the background are autumn trees partially obscured but fog.

Ama posing dynamically, as if twirling in a dance, wearing black thigh-highs, and a black suit, with sheer maroon sleeves decorated with red floral patterns and little black flowers.

Red magic swirls and wraps all around her.

My witchsona that is basically my avatar for everything now. #witchtember #sketches #artsky

Image of my witchsona in an inky black background, with black hands looking at her sides as if they're about to clasp her.

The witch stands undaunted, only gazing at the viewer with a finger pressed to her lips as if to say 'hush'. She holds a black teapot in her other arm.

My first witch for #witchtember (that was done months ago just cuz but ignore that) Beldama. Actually a #dboc believe it or not #ocsky #art #artsky

My OC Beldama soaring on a broom stick in a midnight purple sky, with thin lilac clouds that cover a pure white moon. Her black cap billows as she flies.

Bell is scantily-clad, wearing only a bra, panties with silver trim and chains, and a black witch hat. Moon flowers decorate her hat, and one is pinned in the middle of her bra

Anyway, i heard witchtember is a think. I think this is a good opportunity to give love to some characters i haven't drawn lately and take a break from all the cat art.

010

TheDviousOne @thedviousone.bsky.social · 03/09/2026

But I'm not going to stop checking out a movie, or a book, or a song that catches my interest, and indulging before i've done the 'appropriate checks'. Ya'll have become so afraid of touching anything bad, or that hasn't aged well, that you can't just fucking LIVE. What a miserable existence.

010

TheDviousOne @thedviousone.bsky.social · 03/09/2026

I love films. I love music, and art, and books. Unless I really enjoyed someone's work, I don't look into them and their future projects. If my current fav artists/writers/directors/actors/ect ever turn out to be awful human beings, it would break my heart, but i'll get over it and move on.

110

TheDviousOne @thedviousone.bsky.social · 03/09/2026

Literally, ya'll act like consuming anything and then learning later the person behind it is a genuine, problematic fuck is a permanent stain on your character. If something you took joy and comfort in became tainted like this, you just stop supporting those people, it is that simple.

110

TheDviousOne @thedviousone.bsky.social · 03/09/2026

'Kimberely look at my fatass and ask do you think I give af' but like with media. Cuz i can't imagine what sort of miserable, purity-obsessed, loser you have to be to be unable to consume anything until you've done a thorough research on the product before deciding if it's 'unproblematic'.
