1. OAK for Peachtober This year I decided I will not attempt the whole month, too much pressure for me. I just want to do a few and have fun with it and I had lots of fun with this collage. Isn't she a cutie? 🐿️🍂

CHIMNEY for Peachtober Tbh, this one did not turn out how I wanted it to. It's atmospheric and moody, kinda like you're a detective in a video game surveilling this house. I wanted the house to look more "cosy on a rainy day" and it's more hoa hoa than anything, but I wanted to post it anyhow. 😅
A digital painting showing a blurry circle surrounded by black. There is a little yellow house with a chimney with smoke coming out of it. The house is surrounded by simply drawn trees and bushes, it's raining.

🌟Whimsical Sparkly Cat Momo✨ I took a page out of my own book from years ago with this colour palette. Wanted to try a softer style and found the Mintbush brush in Procreate. It felt like I was sculpting and painting, pushing around texture. Print: www.goodmoodprints.com/products/whi...

#3439 The Dragon of the Lake offers you a choice, but which is the correct path?
A digital drawing of a puzzle featuring a dragon in a lake surrounded by 2 paths of stepping stones. The dragon is saying 'I am the dragon of the lake, behold my mighty scales!'

There is also text that reads 'Our quest is brought to a halt and we find ourselves at a crucial junction. The dragon of the lake has emerged and told us to choose a path. One way leads to a major obstacle that will surely bring our quest to an end, and the other, just a minor inconvenience that we can deal with swiftly.

To make things more complicated the dragon has insisted we must rely on our ears and cross the lake wearing a blindfold.

However, we figured out we could just memorise the series of half steps and whole steps needed to get from stone to stone.

As long as we don’t trip on these roots at the start we should be fine.
The only question is, which is the correct path?'

#2885 Uh oh! Which block will complete the circuit and open the door?
A puzzle with 4 blocks with glyphs on them, and one space in a circuit to place one of them. The circuit has 7 other blocks already in place.
The text reads:
'It’s no use!
We can’t pry it open, these doors seems to be sealed together. It looks like this strange panel is the only thing that'll separate them, but I think we’re gonna have to be sure which of these weird blocky keys is the right one to fit in that bottom slot. We’ve only got one shot though. There’s no budging any of these keys that are already in the circuit so once we pick one, we’re locked in! There must be some logic to it, right?'

#2918 Friendly Flowers and Ravenous Roots
A puzzle with a lawn in a grid format, surrounded by rocks, with flowers on it with 1, 2, 3, or 4 leaves. 'Start' is written at the top and 'Finish' at the bottom.

There is text that reads:
I have to cross this lawn, but Old Earl, the groundskeeper warned me of ravenous roots lurking under the surface. I must find a path that avoids walking over them or I’ll be plant food. Luckily it's a very neat lawn and everything conforms to a strict grid. Old Earl planted some of these friendly flowers so people can cross the lawn.

The flowers stop ravenous roots from growing under those squares, while also detecting which of the 8 surrounding squares have ravenous
roots growing under them, and they grow a leaf for each dangerous square. Though be aware, multiple flowers could be detecting the same dangerous square. I'm assured the flowers will show the safe path across, but I’m not to disturb the flowers by walking on their
squares as they’re very sensitive.

Oh also, Old Earl said that roots don’t grow below these rocks. I asked why he didn’t just line a path with the rocks but he seemed offended I would suggest such a thing. In any case, the rocks are slippery so I can't just skirt around the edge.

One last thing, I'm told it's dangerous to move diagonally. I think Old Earl is messing with me, but I'd better not risk it.

#3417 I wanted to see if you could make a wordsearch but with characters.
A puzzle with text that reads
'Can you find all the characters?'
'They’re hiding in the grid. Each character tells you the layout of tiles they take up in the grid. Find the correct combination of picture tiles that resemble them. However, it’s important to know that none of them overlap layouts with other characters, that would just be rude!'

In the middle is a 10 by 10 grid featuring icons that look like boots, eyes, bows, skulls, circles, etc.

And surrounding the grid is 11 characters.
A caterpillar with boots on.
A cycloptic star holding a skull.
A cute bear with big boots and a fllower tucked behind their ear.
A cat guy with a bowtie, flowers, and a mug.
A bird carrying a skull.
A skeleton with a flower dress and a bow.
A guy in the bush drawing an eye, with a mug on their head.
A flower in a teacup.
A sentient cup of tea.
A 3-eyed flying triangle.
A skeleton driving a car.

As adults we're told playing is childish, but I truly believe allowing yourself to play is one of the keys to happiness and creativity. I have been playing with paper recently and it boosted my art. I wanna get me some wooden toys and lego now. Playing is not just for kids, it's for everyone! ✨🌼
A digital illustration showing the phrase "Don't Forget To Play" in the middle with vibrantly coloured letters on a white background.
There is a frame around it along the border with cute little simply drawn objects: houses, trees, a truck, a bus, some birds, stars and some traffic lights next to the bus. Everything eminates some childlike wonder and is very colourful.

An analog collage with coloured papers in greens and pink. It shows a collection of different coloured geometric shapes, mostly squares and rectangles, all condensed together to make one big shape. Inside the shapes you can find little simle houses, trees, sparkles, flowers, mushrooms, stripes and wiggles. It makes up one centrally positioned pattern.

Day 29. Plant #repostyourart Another puzzle, from year 8 of daily doodles when I was trying to make lots of puzzles, this is the one I was the most proud of. But hey look, this one's all about plants, so I can repost it here.
