#inktober #inktober2026 Yay! I got day 6 done. Maybe I can catch up more tomorrow. Lilly swears up and down it was already broken when she found it. She is glamored at the moment, so she's about 4'8" tall. #dnd

Trying to play catch-up on inktober. I caught COVID from my kids and haven't really been feeling up to drawing much.

#inktober #inktober2026 The tabaxi sisters, Silver and Ember. Ember is definitely too young to be drinking, but that doesn't keep her from trying. I really struggle with anthro characters, so sorry this one really doesn't look good.

#inktober #inktober2026 Like found her miniature. Sadly, it really doesn't look anything like her.

#inktober #inktober2026 Day 2: Relic. Lily discovered something ancient. Running late because I got sick. We'll see if I can get day 3 done today as well.

Currently working on a drawing of another one of the player characters in my current #dnd campaign. #wip

Another drawing of my #dnd character, Lily. I think I got the scale about right. She's supposed to be drinking out of a shot glass. Sorry, I know I kind of wimped out on the background. I couldn't figure out how to do the warping on parts behind the glass. :( #art #illustration #fairy

A fairy in a green dress sitting with a shot glass between her legs.

Me and my wife's #dnd characters, Emmi and Lily. I've worked on this for several months, including starting over from scratch at least once. I'm finally happy with it. I really struggle with rendering and backgrounds, so I hope this turned out well. #tiefling #fairy

A tiefling sitting at the base of a large tree, deep in the woods. Her pet mouse Silverbell sits on her knee. She is adorned with the skulls of other rodents that have been her friends before. Her adventuring companion, Lily, floats nearby. Lily is showing off her new dress.

Sketch if my #dnd character Lily. She's a #fairy who was exiled to the Shadowfell and managed to escape to the material plane. She innate magic was tainted while in the Shadowfell, so she is a Shadow Magic Sorcerer. #sketch #rkgk #traditional

The #tabaxi sisters Silver and Ember. They are the characters of one of the players in my #dnd group. The taller one is a white tiger and a Wildfire Druid. The smaller one is a magically inclined "sidekick" character. #sketch #anthro #rkgk

Drew my #dnd character Lily again. She learned to sew and makes patchwork dresses for herself from scraps that she "borrows" from local fabric stores. She is a fairy, who frequently uses her glamour to appear as a young elf girl.

Picture of a young elf girl striking a pose in a patchwork dress. She has her hands up near her ears, palms facing the viewer.

I spent about 5-10 minutes after work before dinner to draw my wife's #dnd character. I feel pretty happy that I could actually draw it and not obsess over the tiny details and never finish.

My goal for #mermay was to complete at least one mermaid drawing, and I really cut it close, but managed to get this done. I did the day 1 prompt, Hello!

What is the proper etiquette for reposting people's art? I see a lot of artists don't want their stuff reposted. Is that normal? What are the reasons someone would want to repost art or have their art reposted?

Update: I emailed the opt-out address listed on their website and got a reply. But, I never. Should. Have. Had. To. Opt. Out. I’m so tired of these tech companies & their entitlement. DoorDash putting small restaurants on their apps w/o permission, AI scraping our sites, & now this? It’s exhausting

Working on a sketch of the Aasimar Paladin/Rogue in our current #dnd party. Her name is Ase, and she is still somewhat mysterious as she hasn't really shared much of her backstory. One thing that her player was emphatic about was that she's got really big breasts. I tried to keep it reasonable.

3rd day at my new job after 8 months of unemployment, and I'm so stressed I want to quit. Everyone else feels way more capable. Also I have no idea what I'm supposed to be doing, but when I ask, I just get vague answers. Too much anxiety.

I've made a little progress. Unfortunately, I've come to the realization that I absolutely suck at drawing furries. Tabaxi are technically furries. :(

010

The Dirty Deal @thedirtydeal.bsky.social · 16/09/2025

My current #DnD party. I'm trying to be okay with just making it exist first. I really hope I'll have a finished version for y'all later. ADHD and ASD kind of actively fight against me ever completing my drawings.

A very rough sketch of my current Dungeons & Dragons party. From left to right, Ember (Tabaxi sidekick with a healer focus), Emmi (Tiefling Elf Ranger), Ase (Aasimar Paladin), Lily (Fairy Shadow Magic Sorcerer on Ase's head), Silver (Tabaxi Circle of Wildfire Druid and Ember's older sister). Ase (pronounced Ah-s-uh) is very clearly regretting joining this crazy party of adventures.

Just got home from outpatient back surgery. It sucks.

000

The Dirty Deal @thedirtydeal.bsky.social · 30/08/2025

I drew my #dnd character, Lily. She is a Fairy that was exiled from the Feywild to the Shadowfell. She's not sure how she escaped, only that her time there corrupted her natural magical abilities. Hence, she is a Shadow Magic Sorcerer. Referenced Ryoko Kui for the body, and BnHA for the hair.

110

The Dirty Deal @thedirtydeal.bsky.social · 26/08/2025

I've been in a really bad slump lately, but I'm trying to force myself to just sketch and work less about it being "perfect". I really like #dungeonmeshi, so I've been referencing Ryoko Kui's work a little bit in Daydream Hour.

The Dirty Deal @thedirtydeal.bsky.social · 08/08/2025

It feels like I've lost my ability to draw. You know how pitchers in baseball can get to where they can't throw a strike no matter what? It's like that. I sit down to draw, and everything I try just looks BAD.
