Noodle’s evaluation and the first hit to my wallet is over. Mass isn’t a cyst, it’s probably a tumor. Doc says he thinks it’s benign based on location and all that, but we won’t know for certain until surgery and tests next week.

Takara Tomy couldn’t be bothered to include four new pieces to make this possible out of the box. So, since I couldn’t find my extra 30MM joints, I finally ordered a set of Kotobukiya’s MSG ones. The blades are now processed & attached, just like in the first Battle Film.

I enjoyed the "wrong" action figures Irwin released. Like thanks for the Battle Jacket, but why is #17 in it? Oh, the Majin Vegeta that existed for two seconds and on a Rebirth of Fusion commercial. This is also definitely how I remember Goku going Super Saiyan.

Guess the infection is gone. Hearing has been back for a bit, but everything is just slightly “weird” and muffled or whatever in said ear. Like it reshaped my ear canal or something and now sound is processed differently. Going to keep expectations low and assume that’s permanent.

While there was no name, gender, or design attached at the time, the overseer of the Time Patrol in DBO was only a Time Kaiō (시간의 계왕). Meanwhile, for Xenoverse and beyond, Chronoa is the Time Kaiōshin (시간의 계왕신). So congrats on the promotion between franchise gigs.

Context: I was reading Wonder Island, which features a stranded WWII pilot. If you subscribe to the Toriyama-verse, it connects to Dr. Slump and thus DB. So some iteration of the war occurred from AGE 704-710 (which the movies play with further by outright adding Hitler into Rebirth of Fusion).

Opened up the timeline doc for my mini DMC project and noticed that my notes for Season 1 of the Netflix show only covered up to Episode 2… Guess Season 2 was more interesting (despite Season 1 being better) just because it was adapting a trash villain from a trash game.

Coming as no surprise to most DMC fans, that was indeed terrible. I don’t mind some of the additions to Arius and Argosax’s lore, and a few potential Mundus additions by proxy, I guess, too. But I still hated the vast majority of this season.

I’ll believe a DMC1 remake (or DMC0 /DMC6 for that matter) when I see it with my own eyes. Good things aren’t a regular occurrence in this franchise. Even when we do get a gift like DMC5, it gets minimal DLC support and then pushed aside until whatever miracle pops up next.

I’m going to try to replicate this as my Goku collection grows, with a few more forms tossed in. I also plan to do something similar for Vegeta, but I’ll figure out those poses later when I have more in the space.
