I want to watch an NFL where Colin Kaepernick would have continued playing for a decade after being celebrated as a man of conviction and an NFL that never allowed the likes of Deshaun Watson to suit up again.

When their CEO claims it’s a conspiracy, it’s hard to believe that a substantial number of the charges against Manchester City were that they didn’t act in good faith and obstructed the investigation.

That's more like it and as a United fan, I really can't tell you what value Jim Ratcliffe gives Man United. Why is this man associated with the club and increasingly he sounds like he's using the club as a tool to threaten taking his wealth out of the UK. bsky.app/profile/thed...

This man is an embarrassment on multiple fronts. Manchester United as a club are the sporting embodiment of British excellence and the idea that we have an owner who can publicly say he has no faith in the UK, is just so tone deaf. Mind you, United are listed on the London Stock Market.

TheDefense @thedefense.bsky.social · 19/09/2026

I will never advocate for keeping politics out of sports but that doesn't mean that this doesn't occasionally backfire. Manchester United being associated with this man's politics is a massive problem and it shouldn't be the case if only because we're publicly traded. www.bbc.co.uk/news/article...

One last note, when you look at the backline of Lacroix, Colwill and Fofana, you have 3 defenders that do not like reading the game. Mind you, I didn't say they can't read the game but they would rather win 1-on-1 duels than to defend in a shape

I know hindsight is 20/20 but look at that squad from striker through midfield and defenders, and you can see why Chelsea are in the trouble that they are in. It's not a well put together team and Emi is a good keeper but he can't bail the team out the way he could 3-4 years ago.
