i think ‘05 pride & prejudice exists to keep us all humble about book adaptations because it’s an imperfect adaptation of austen’s book but it’s essentially the perfect movie and so seeing austen fans who hate it reminds you how ridiculous you might be looking for being too married to accuracy

sometimes I go out to events and I drink and i talk to people and I have interesting conversations and there's people who tell me how well dressed and smart I am and I sit there wondering afterwords of just how many interactions I miss out on by staying in my room all the time.
