If my ex decides to stop paying child support, I have some recourse. The amount owed goes on record. Liens on paychecks can be issued, but I’m sure it would be difficult to do that with him. In CA, they can deny issuing licenses until you’re caught up. That’s probably not a problem for Elon.

It’s because the Pinto’s problem was sensationalized. In ‘78, NBC Dateline rigged a Pinto with incendiaries to violently explode on contact and used that in their news piece. A lot more people watched the news and had more faith that news programs were acting ethically.
