I'd be interested in giving it a go! Assume its anytime, not just November? Looking to make some progress on a project this weekend on the next so this is well timed.

Aha the classic combination of sleep deprivation and heatstroke - its worrying that I genuinely think this would work for me

Nothing like a heatwave to inexplicably make me start writing again, maybe heat-induced delirium is the secret to it... #WritingCommunity #BookSky #Author

Probably my favourite book this year? Brilliantly messy world, characters and plot that had me hooked from the get go, with absolutely gorgeous prose. Honestly just sad it's over. Highly recommended, even if it doesn't seem like something you'd usually pick up! 📚💙 #Reading #BookReview

This was absolutely my favourite book of the year, if not the last few. Loved it!!

Finished Malice by John Gwynne! Mixed feelings on this one. It was fine and certainly has all the hallmarks of epic fantasy, but… seemed a bit bland beyond that? There wasn't much development beyond the standard tropes. Still, a good read for fans of epic fantasy! 📚💙 #Reading #BookReview

Finally taken the plunge and created a new Scrivener project. Got to the point where I need to write as well as think!! Sure, there's nothing in it yet, but we're getting there #WritingCommunity #Author #Fantasy

Picked up seven new books because my will is weak when faced with books - four of those the first books in trilogies... at least my TBR won't run out anytime soon #BookSky #reading #TBR

I did Uprooted too! The snippets at the end made me want to read Spinning Silver haha. Enjoyed both, but would say Spinning Silver was better for me

Now finished Spinning Silver by Naomi Novik - loved this! Gorgeous fantasy world, great writing with interesting POVs, and a well rounded plot. May not be for everyone, but this was just what I wanted. I also loved Uprooted, but in my opinion this is better. #BookSky #Reading #BookReview

Same, I've never really understood why anyone would... isn’t researching and brainstorming the best bit? How else will i end up finding something completely unexpected? Why outsource that to the plagiarism machine?

So, I recently finished The Will of the Many by James Islington - easy 5 stars for me! Favourite book of 2026 so far. To keep a long review short... incredible world building, well crafted plot, and victories that feel satisfying and earned. Highly recommend! #BookSky #Reading #BookReview

Naming a novel is lowkey harder than naming a child, because at least when I named my kids, I wasn’t consumed with the problem of how to make them sound marketable 🫠

Bluebells were out in full force today! Always nice to get out (despite the eventual hail) Fun fact: UK native bluebells only spread an average of 4cm per year, which is why they're oft limited to ancient woodlands, and outcompeted by their Spanish counterparts

It was a bad night for writing but I at least got one more query out. Maybe if I just keep swapping between writing and querying to procrastination it'll work out?...
