As someone with chronic pain, I tend to ignore injuries until it is too late. For example, I sliced my ankle open on a dropped knife last week. I put a bandage on it. This week, I'm paying for not getting stitches. It randomly scrapes open when I flex too hard, sit cross-legged, or itch. Sucks.

I don't understand the concept of buying things for aesthetics only. Thrifting books for color or size, but with no interest in the contents, seems criminal. I'm not saying don't thrift for beauty because being beautiful is sometimes an object's function. But why ignore usefulness for fashion?

Was thinking about my late grandma, who, at the age of 60, went back to school for a GED. She outlived 9 husbands, numerous lovers, 12 of her 17 siblings, and swore by a daily regimen of two packs of Virginia Slims and a pitcher of sweet tea. She's been gone 10 years now.

I bought a dollhouse for $1. The cats invaded it. This morning I discovered the #cats have turned it into their personal meow-Juana paradise after raiding the pantry for nip. Fucking #stoner pets. *Definitely catnip and not pot. I have a huge pot allergy and asthma. No chill fun for me. :(

The biggest issue with my GLP1 is that I completely forget to eat. Then, when I do eat, I'm not hungry. I get full within a bite. And I just plain old don't enjoy food. You'd think the pounds would be melting off-nope. My body is all, "It's all right lassie, the Brits won't starve ye!"

Thrifted and Dollar Tree-ed probably 90% of my kids Lich-day baskets. Finds of honor had to be the pink glitter stripe Adidas and pink leather moto jacket for the 8yo and the DMG and tamogatchi for the 16yo.
