I have a buddy who I trust when it comes to creation and worldbuilding with different characters in settings. His idea is that a character doesn't have to exist in just one setting but a version of the same character could be in another universe just miniscule difference. I might do that. ✨️

020

Krisp☀️ @thecrispsun.bsky.social · 08/10/2026

I was thinking about my universe system recently and reflecting on how I have a few that fall outside some of these settings. 🤔 The Flickerflash and Blackout Gang are kind of in a past/AU version of SuperClassique and all my desert future stuff with Vissica is entirely separate, so I'm lost. 🤷‍♀️

When you light up EVERYTHING you can touch, its easy to stop the power-outage heist gang that keeps showing up. 👉✨ FlickerFlash and her recurring inept villains; The Blackout Gang. 🔅🌆🔆 #OC #heroOC #villainOC #ocksy #digitalart #TheCrispSun

Ran into it in the wild on reddit but not here on bsky. Can't believe people are still trying to create with characters from the terf book.😔

Krisp☀️ @thecrispsun.bsky.social · 03/10/2026

I don't know what it's called and I don't want to. Crazy that people are out here still riding for the terf book characters. Haven't seen any mutuals do it so far. I'd be bummed if I did. 😔

I don't know if I have a 'most beautiful' character, but they're all aspects of me if I made them. (Good or bad.)✨ I see others really take to Solara. There's a power in confidence and genuine positivity that I think she has. ☀️ I could be wrong, if there's a favorite of yours lmk.💖 #OC #OCsky #WIP

Thanks so much for the art of my inept villain squad!! I was not expecting this! 😮‼️ They're just street level thugs and don't even have a dynamic with their main hero, yet and you're already thrashing them excellently with Snapshot Woman! I'm honored for the art!! 💖✨

Inept villain #OC gang called the Blackout Gang. 😈Pulse 🩻Skelly 😏Smooth They shut down energy in areas to extort money, causing mayhem during the power outage. What happens after that isn't very thought out when heroes like FlickerFlash arrive. 🥽🌃📻 #digitalart #characterdesign #OCSky #TheCrispSun

Electric or light based hero is exactly what I was thinking! Can't use the night vision goggles if everything is lit up by some source other than the electrical grid. bsky.app/profile/thec...

Krisp☀️ @thecrispsun.bsky.social · 25/09/2026

Skelly's alright, but he's still part of a gang. 🩻 Sure he might loom over people in the dark but he's not as into the stealing or mayhem as the other two. Glad you're okay with the designs tho! ✨️

I did my best characters when no one knew who I was. Just dropping a concept and seeing what catches was always my favorite. It felt like the character was more the focus then me as a person. I still vibe with people and appreciate the times. Solo builds are where I need to be right now, too.

Some early #WIP color and design study for #FlickerFlash As much as I love the blue and green its a little too aqua/ocean. The jazz-cup style white shirt and headband brings a lot more attention to her face and is much more retro/aerobic. 🌊🌴✨ #OCsky #sketch #characterdesign #digitalart

I remember the ground based villain! It was a great prompt interaction.💖 Love those villains that challenge their heroes and it's nice to have the occasional villain that is designed to be weak against the hero but they find new ways to challenge them.🏃‍♀️ I wouldn't mind going back to comics, lol! ✨

Thanks, bud! I hadn't considered having villains for my gourdwitch, but that sounds like a fun idea. Hellbranch is an old mentor turned villain of AquaJet that I haven't drawn in well over a year. She's the one that makes minions out of plant life that AJ can make stronger if she splashes them. 🌊💪🌱
