Gave the cats a box. Orion would not stop screaming at me until I moved it into the bedroom and onto the bed and now he's claimed it as his and he hisses anytime Nox even looks at the box

✨ Big announcement! ✨ We're excited to announce that the Turbo Dork family is growing with 20 new colors. We are still getting our swatch golems ready to show off the paints themselves, but they have names! Stay tuned for more info. ^_^ #TurboDork #MiniPainting #ComingSoon #NewRelease

The look of the cat that definitely didn't just throw up all over my bed

I am trying so hard not to absolutely just crash out at her but its a battle I'm close to losing.

Alex Dayton @thecommonmasses.bsky.social · 01/04/2026

I had used the image in an earlier assignment and it wasn't an issue then but now it is?!?!? And when I pointed out that I had used it before and she had been fine with it she said I hadn't. I literally had to send her a screenshot of the image being used in the previous assignment!!!!!!!!

This fucking professor at school is going to cause me to have a stroke I swear to god. Now she's saying one of the images I used in my final project isn't usable because she can't access the site because it went down sometime between Sunday and now.

Today is Orion's 12th birthday and he decided to celebrate it by throwing up in my tub this morning. Love my evil, tubby boy though and wouldn't trade him for the world.

Almost went the petty route with the teacher that questioned my academic integrity but decided to be the slightly better person. So only half the sources I'm using for my final paper for this class are physical sources instead of all of them.

They were in different areas and Pinsir was like "I miss Heracross" and I absolutely HAD to reunite them.

020

Alex Dayton @thecommonmasses.bsky.social · 28/03/2026

Omg they're on a little date to the market, how cute.

050

Alex Dayton @thecommonmasses.bsky.social · 28/03/2026

Pinsir & Heracross are married and living their best lives in my Pokopia world.

I contacted my advisor because I was like there's no way this is a real policy so we'll see what happens

130

Alex Dayton @thecommonmasses.bsky.social · 23/03/2026

This was the textbook in question by the way

140

Alex Dayton @thecommonmasses.bsky.social · 23/03/2026

It's literally a textbook from a class that's required by my degree program???? I was able to find a definitely not pirated version of the textbook online and sent her the link but apparently if there's no free, easy to find copy online I'm not allowed to use it. Which is insane to me.

161

Alex Dayton @thecommonmasses.bsky.social · 23/03/2026

Got accused of cheating at school because one of the sources I used was a hard copy of a textbook that I had from another class and the professor of my current class said because she couldn't find a free copy of the textbook online she couldn't verify it as a source.

My reaction when I see this on a school assignment.

040

Alex Dayton @thecommonmasses.bsky.social · 13/03/2026

I'm only being slightly dramatic when I say that I've had Pokopia for two days and I would die for any of the pokemon on my island

021

Alex Dayton @thecommonmasses.bsky.social · 13/03/2026

It has absolutely been worth it. I highly recommend the game! I will probably only use my Switch 2 for just that until the new pokemon game comes out.

020

Alex Dayton @thecommonmasses.bsky.social · 10/03/2026

Bought myself a switch 2 as an early graduation present and mostly because I want to no life Pokopia

This January has been a rough one I won't lie y'all. I'm manifesting a better week though. I desperately need it.

Universe can I please get a single win. Just like a small one is all I'm asking for.

Alex Dayton @thecommonmasses.bsky.social · 21/01/2026

Ted Cruz going on vacation to California three days before a winter storm is supposed to hit Texas???? I'm fully expecting the power grid to actually explode this time

010

Alex Dayton @thecommonmasses.bsky.social · 21/01/2026

I am so sorry for your loss Jamie. I'm sending you the largest hug I possibly can.

lmao someone broke into my car 🙃

Alex Dayton @thecommonmasses.bsky.social · 19/01/2026

This past week sucked from both a mental health standpoint and a physical health standpoint so if this coming week could NOT just absolutely fuck my shit up, I'd greatly appreciate it.

Got home from work and one of my fire alarms is chirping and I don't have a tall enough ladder to reach it so I just have to live with the noise until I can get a ladder 🙃

Yeah I've tried Fallout Shelter and it's not exactly what I'm looking for. I basically want an extraction shooter where your only job is to sort the loot that your players bring back lol. It's a very niche desire so I doubt it'll ever exist
