It did indeed turn out very well, Rochester Castle, Canterbury Cathedral and some brilliant gravel in between!

Rochester a classic square turreted castle with a couple of bikes in the foreground and a blue sky in the background.

Green gravel bike with saddle bag leans against a green sign with white writing that read Pilgrims Way.

A figure stand astride a bike on a gravel track across a green field with blue sky and a long low valley in the background

Decorative gate to Canterbury Cathedral. Stone with numerous brightly painted coats of arms

@ruari Maybe, although it is my birthday (that's my birthday card in the OP) and Mrs Child has been getting to know 'Barry' the bike I put together especially for this holiday we're on.

Burgundy 'Barry Hoban' bike in the sun, leaning on some rocks with a rural French harbour scene behind it. Bike has been built up with swept back 'moustache' handlebars and 1x gearing.

Hey #biketooter I got out for a lovely spot of #bikepacking this weekend, the Essex/Suffolk border along the river Stour is lovely and everything is so green and lush right now, absolutely spot on!

The outlook from a wild camp spot. A light green 1 person tent to the right of the frame with a gravel bike laying down in the foreground. The pitch is in a lush green semi shaded spot under some trees and overlooks an empty field with country views beyond.

#NowPlaying Just got back from seeing #JoshuaIdehen supporting Baxter Dury at The Junction in #Cambridge and, for me, he stole the show, great #music incredible vibe and a true craftsman. Stoked to have picked up a signed white label of as yet unreleased material.

Signed album sleave is a minimalistic picture of a handsome black man in a white shirt and grey/white suit and white shoes against a white wall, standing on a grey floor.
