Guess where I am!! The pneumatic waste system on hammarby neighborhood in Stockholm. People separate their waste and drop it into these inlets, and the trash gets sucked away at nearly 70 km/h into a central area. It lifts recycling rates, cuts emissions from idling trucks, and improves hygiene.

Just got back from Singapore, the first stop on a three-country trip to see circular systems IRL. The country urban plans are around five systems: water, waste, energy, transport, and green space. Acknowledging constraints gave rise to these elegant solutions
