RESIDENT EVIL was just beat by beat horror fun. Many of the jump scares caught me loving. We did it guys! We have a great Resident Evil movie, FINALLY!

Just watched ONSLAUGHT. Felt like I was watching an 80's action flick with the dumbest, undercooked story ever... And I was still entertained. Sadly the third act barely exists, and it's resolved way too soon. (Also, Features the most adorable little girl in a movie. Lol)

Just finished the pilot episode of Lanterns, very good start! Interested in seeing how the rest goes!

Watched SPIDER-MAN BRAND NEW DAY. I thought it was good but not great, I enjoyed Punisher the most, definitely enjoyed the first half, but then it gets quite messy as it continues. The action sequences were creative and fun, but to me, it overstays it's welcome by the end.

I just got out of THE ODYSSEY in 70mm. Hot damn Nolan. That first act was moving too damn fast, but wow did it get insane. Sense of scale is insane. My only gripe some of the action sequences were... Fine. Those IMAX cameras are too big to whip around I guess.

I've installed a new GPU today on my computer. I can't tell if my computer is burning or that's just the smell of New York currently with the Canadian fires.... Me right now:

Just got out of EVIL DEAD BURN. Enjoyed it, may not be the strongest entry recently, but still very solid and entertaining with a really nice score. Also, I can see some of the movie's themes being too sensitive for some.

I kept thinking of my buddy throughout the God Of War Laufey reveal. He was a massive GOW fan, and I know he would have been going crazy.

Just got out of BACKROOMS. I was enjoying it ... Until that third act arrived. Once questions started getting answered, I felt like the mystique wore off quickly. Still an impressive showcase for this young director, with the help of strong leads. I just consider it "fine."

Just watched The Mandalorian and Grogu... I feel like this movie could have been an email. Also, Martin Scorsese is in the movie. I don't know what to do with this information.

OBSESSION is currently one of my personal favorite horror movies since Hereditary. Inde Navarrette is amazing in this. Absolutely loved it.

Finished MIXTAPE. Impossible to not feel great playing through this. Sitting here feeling melancholy about my own final days of high school, and the friends I've slept it with. Finished in one sitting, and immediately called up my old friends to reminisce. What an amazing game.

Mortal Kombat 2 was definitely a movie for MK fans. The action sequences were a huge upgrade from the first movie. I did have some gripes in the first act, and a few other areas, but overall a win for me. As an OG Kitana & Bi-Han fan, I approve.

My personal issue each week with Daredevil Born Again S2, is that I can't stop comparing it to what came before. (Netflix seasons) To me, that seems like a high I'm never gonna feel again. Second, the trailers for upcoming projects ruined this finale for me. Thanks Disney. 😑

I didn't love THE MUMMY, but I did like it. Dragged on a bit, I didn't find it scary much, but the EVIL DEAD RISE style of craziness ultimately won me over by the end.

My friend wanted to cosplay Selena Corey from #ResidentEvilRequiem, afterwards, we got on the photo mode on the PS5 Pro, and composited her into the room.

THEY WILL KILL YOU is a movie that you watch with friends in a packed theater, and witness the entire room lose their absolute shit. Heavy on the Tarantino inspired action sequences, with Oldboy and Lady Snowblood sprinkled about.

Completed ROMEO IS A DEADMAN. Suda51 still never misses for me. Crazy ideas, banger soundtrack, although some aspects do feel a bit dated, still very entertaining! Also, whoever created the damn Jellies enemies, I hope they have a very bad day. 😒

Just watched FRANKENSTEIN. Guillermo del Toro's sets, and costumes are always so damn on point. Very good watch, and glad I was able to watch it in the big screen, instead of at home.
