That they both are. This place seems better in a lot of sense. It doesn't have an "algorithm" to push people. Iirc it's just full random on whose front page, with 0 consideration for amount of viewers etc. The anti ai stance was a HUGE appeal for me.

Yeah! You can use sorayuki's obs-multi-rtmp plugin for obs, or aitum multistream (maybe there are others I'm unaware of as well). There's no option to combine chat in iverlay furrently, but I imagine that'll be a possibility in the near future.

Database and Site have been moved across successfully, we opened the site very briefly and did a test stream, was great. We still need to finish up with the moving across two more parts of the site, but when that's done we're good to go for a good while again! Will be back up in less than 24 hours

As someone who went into the industry sheerly out of passion, it's infuriating. I love the craft, doing the "tedious" stuff is fun. But the craft is truly not seen by many as an art despite there being so many cool random things in it.

been poking around altstream and it's actually got me sort of pumped. it looks like the first actual alternative to twitch among other streaming options, using common twitch features such as raids and channel points. it also loads like a dream on my super slow connection. it's very promising imo.

Definitely preferred! I was hoping to try and do some setup today for altstream, but I cannot get the site to load. Takes like 45 seconds to load pages, and most the time they don't load. Yesterday it seemed better. Soon though!

If you have a chat browser source in OBS I strongly recommend running this test as there was an exploit found that can execute code on your machine through some chat browser sources. Granted, you are likely not effected, but it's worth a check regardless.

Aniimo Pawprint Studios. NO disclosure, claimed they didn't use any and you wouldn't find any in their game. Players found it and have been calling it out since 2025, "sketch art", promotional material and in-game. -y
