Just venting into the atmosphere. I am a great artist. I’m not saying that from a place of ego or vanity, but from a standpoint that I worked my ass off to become one. So after working said ass off only to get left on read or discarded after years is ducking stupid.

TOP MOVIE PICKS FOR JANUARY 1. Better Man 2. Presence 3. The Brutalist A Better Man stands out as my top movie pick for the month. The CGI was incredible, and it didn’t take you out of the film. Its has elaborate and creative choreography, and I personally resonated with the ending.

I don’t post up things like this here, but damn. David Lynch was a true artist, a great man that pushed himself and created iconic works of art. Eraserhead & Twin Peaks were amazing, and I will go back and definitely watch more of his work. Appreciate art and the artist while they’re still around.

The moon looks beautiful as she shines both above horizon and reflected in the calm waters of Lake Michigan at North Avenue Beach this evening. She is set against a pastel sky tapering darker toward the horizon, lighter toward the top of frame. The street lights at left have just turned on, still being outdone by ambient light. The ground is just barely covered by a little bit of snow.

These movies for me are standouts for creative choices they made, my interest in them, and if they got to me on a personal level. Sidenote: I saw Interstellar for the first time this year in IMAX, so that’s why it’s included on this list. TO ME, it’s easily Nolan’s best movie.

The storm now fills the entire middle third of the frame, with hints of bolts visible between the layers of horizontal clouds in front of the main thunderhead. Said thunderhead is lit up so bright and white it looks like daytime puffy white clouds were dropped into this night scene. The midnight blue sky above has now turned more of a blue hour color from the continuous lightning, and the bottom third lake reflection is much more vivid.
