Any other administration wouldn’t be deliberately tanking the dollar to push everything to crypto.

Dude, we tried. Economy tanked our 401ks in 2008 and again now. Paid dutifully into Social Security since 16 only to be called vampires for wanting to collect. Employers killed pensions for most of our generation. Short of burying gold like Ron Swanson, I’m not sure what else we should have done.

Just to be clear, none of this is a mistake. To the oligarchs, we are not equal. We are livestock. We are to be yolked, bred, worked, and left to die when we have outlived our usefulness.

I have been paying into Social Security since I was 16. It is an EARNED BENEFIT. It is an “entitlement“ only in the sense that I’m absolutely entitled to that benefit since they saw fit to take it from my paycheck with no way to opt out.

MAGA is trying to spin the narrative that the federal employees who’ve lost their jobs were poor performers. That isn’t true. Most were dedicated civil servants who worked hard to keep America and the world running. Don’t believe the spin. Fight it when you hear it.

I canceled Amazon Prime six weeks ago and don’t miss it. I’m now acutely aware of how much money I wasted on crap I didn’t need because it was so easy and convenient.

Not sure what’s going on with my “Discover” feed, but it’s suddenly full of folks sharing their vinyl collections and the albums they’re listening to, and I am HERE for it.

Good advice. If it’s in your budget, also consider signing up for a privacy & identity protection service like Aura, LifeLock, or IDShield. Might not be able to prevent much but at least you’ll get some warning.

So sorry to hear this. What an incredibly inspirational life and career Donald Shoup had. Everyone should read The High Cost of Free Parking. I did a little “book club” on it here: marketurbanism.com/2012/06/15/t...
