Out Like A Lamb might be my favorite track off of Marrow Deep

I don’t feel good. At all. I’m fine physically but mentally I at an all time low. I don’t know. I don’t have anywhere else I feel comfortable saying this.

I'm up to episode 12 of The Return in my Twin Peaks retro review series for @popheist.com. This week, Audrey Horne returns as Frost and Lynch continue to peel back the red curtain on a sick, broke, violent country. (gift link!)

'Twin Peaks' 3x12 Recap: This Woman’s Work - Pop Heist

Twin Peaks is everywhere and everyone, not just one town and the weird people in it. There are weird people we haven’t met and never will.

I think Call of Duty should spin off two different games 1) a tactical shooter, Rainbow Six style game set in the modern warfare universe 2) a coop heist game set in the black ops universe/spies vs mercs in the blops universe

I would watch a Dead Space movie or tv series about the Ishimura finding the Marker and all hell breaking loose, ending where the game starts

Well I really like that new mastodon song but I’m disappointed that the video uses GenAI. I doubt that was the band’s call. They probably just saw the video and signed off on it

Ok, I found the one art change in Halo Campaign Evolved that actually pisses me off. They removed the Marathon logo from Guilty Spark’s eye, which feels like the final cutting off of the Bungie legacy to me

Why are cloud saves on PlayStation still locked to PS+???

Backrooms was way more my style than Obsession. I think Obsession is the better movie but I like what Backrooms is doing more personally.

I’m not even an id fan but I’m so angry about how Xbox leadership is treating one of their Crown Jewels. It says they know nothing about the industry and only proving that Phil Spencer was still the better fit for the job

theanticitizen / David / デービッド @theanticitizen.bsky.social · 09/07/2026

@digitalfoundry.bsky.social After watching your clip earlier about Microsoft’s disgusting treatment of id, I think you should seriously reconsider covering Xbox at all

My biological grandfather passed away this morning. I’m left with kind of mixed feelings, we had a complicated relationship but mostly I feel for my dad because I know he had been trying to mend their relationship but was also taking care of him

I have no interested in the Helix or PS6. Right now for me, this hobby is dead and I just don’t want to engage with it anymore. Not that I would have been able to afford either one

I got my first Xbox in 2004 with my graduation money and it reignited my love for video games. Now I’m afraid it’s about to kill my love for video games

000

theanticitizen / David / デービッド @theanticitizen.bsky.social · 30/06/2026

If all these stuff with Xbox ends up being true, I don’t think I’ll end up getting a Helix. Maybe that’s not fair to the folks who are working at Xbox but I’m tired of this. Xbox needs to be spun out. I’m just worried Amazon will try to buy Xbox from Microsoft

Zerg spellcasters need a rework because PsiStorm is kind of broken in ZvP right now. The enhanced duration destroys everything from Hydra Ling to Infestor Broodlord. Zerg needs a unit that can neutralize spell casters like Feedback or EMP

I think the Xbox staffing up is them preparing to separate from Microsoft because a lot of the positions that are being filled seem like ones that Microsoft should already have in place at the company proper

I want to make a delivery service themed horror game where you have to make strange pick ups, drive through and to mysterious locations and avoid unknowable horrors as you drop the food off at the customer’s door

I was thinking about Godzilla as cosmic horror. The idea of a semi ethereal Godzilla appearing, rotting like a dead god, limbs too long and dragging and causing all in its vicinity to go mad

Ok Cryogen feels like a return to form for Muse with a touch of Turnstile thrown in for good measure. That’s a great song!
