Ain't that rich? 0.3% of cannabis users vomit after prolonged over-indulgance. But I'll bet over 50% of alcohol users vomit after prolonged over-indulgance.

Your instincts are spot on. The authors stated that they needed to expand the "Woody" descriptor to include "Pine" and maybe "Sandalwood". "Woody" was the only choice that covered ALL woody aromas, including pine in this study - "Pine" was not one of the 25 descriptors.

Me too. It's my favorite aroma in cannabis. But Pinene-dominant flower is kind of rare around here (FLA). That could be why.

Higher Total Terpene content was not associated with stronger aroma profiles. Volatile Sulfur Compounds (VSCs) were also not associated with specific aromas, and their variation among 91 samples was small. We should probably start looking more closely at “The Other 75%” of mass in flower 🤷

Some interesting recent cannabis research. Individual Terpenes were not associated with specific aromas …EXCEPT Terpinolene - associated with “citrus” & “chemical” aromas Limonene was NOT associated with “citrus” There's more to it than Terps & VSCs Summary: theamazingflower.com/blogs/articl...
A simple pie chart against a black background depicting "Cannabis Flower Components". It shows that about 75% of cannabis flower is composed of "Other Components". Approx. 20% is cannabinoids, 4% is terpenes, 0.5% is flavonoids, and 0.5% is volatile sulfur compounds.

If a patient tries it and finds it improves their quality of life in any way, that's perfectly well-founded for them. Just ask the parents of a child suffering from intractable epilepsy.

Tell that to all the patients who swear by cannabinoids (mostly those that DON'T get them high). Patients don't want to get high, they just want to get better. "Evidence" is there, just not the kind of expensive RCTs non-schedule I compounds get. Wonder why?

Terpenes in cannabis and hemp flower 🌿🌺🥭 Love 'em or not, they're about all we measure right now 🤷 theamazingflower.com/pages/terpenes
This is a color coded chart titled "the terpene spectrum". It includes the name, reported benefits, and boiling points for 25 different terpenes and terpenoids commonly found in cannabis and hemp flower. The colors range from red and orange at the top to blue and purple at the bottom. Red and orange represent more uplifting terpenes while blue and purple represent more calming terpenes. If you are using a text to speech reader, this information is available in text form on our website here: https://theamazingflower.com/pages/terpenes

Will you look at that? Only 2 naturally occurring cannabinoids have euphoric effects. That means there are 17 cannabinoids with unique effects that don't get you high. We owe it to patients to study these more than we do. Patients don't want to get high, they just want to get better 🤙 #Cannabis
A colorful graphical depiction of the natural cannabinoid biosynthetic pathway, or as we call it, the family tree. It shows that the acidic cannabinoids such as thca and cbda are converted to their neutral forms with the addition of heat light oxygen and time. After even more exposure to heat light oxygen and time, these neutral cannabinoids will convert to their oxidized forms. There are 17 naturally occurring cannabinoids that are NOT euphoric or psychotropic. Only two: Delta 8 and Delta 9 THC, have euphoric effects. The flowchart also shows that many cannabinoids can be made synthetically by adding catalyst chemicals. Most of these semi-synthetic cannabinoids are euphoric or psychotropic.

A screen shot of a google AI overview:

What form of cannabis has the longest shelf life?

AI Overview

Edibles provide the longest-lasting cannabis experience, with effects that can last for several hours to over half a day, compared to the shorter durations of inhalation methods like smoking or vaping. This prolonged effect is because cannabinoids need to go through the digestive system before entering the bloodstream, which takes more time.

Cannabis flower prices drop dramatically during the first few years of legalization. $400 an oz just isn't sustainable for a mass (pun intended) market, industry peeps. Please don't build a business plan that requires it🙏 We need successful cannabis businesses 🤙
