More Ocarina 64 observations~ Visually, I thought this game was as close to perfection as possible back then. Now, I kinda still do 😆

Mirrored eye texture, perfect little triangular nose, with sharpened edges. (Never noticed before, but her eyebrows come off as greenish compared to the visible hair on her head.)

Links arm/sleeve polygon warping when stretching.

Impa's blade on her lower back appears to be a 2D image. The slightly misaligned texture meeting near/at her neck with the mirrored brown strap. Classic pointy Lara Croft-like chest

2D billboareds, 2D billboards everywhere~
Still, VERY effective and necessary for selling the implied size and scale of Hyrule at the time ❤️

*Small thread of observations* Playing Ocarina 64 again for the first time since its Wii release: This game's visual design REALLY imprented on my low poly work 🥰 Polygon clipping; tiled, stretched, and blurry textures; 2D images for distant backgrounds, the works! I love it all~

Sleeve polygons clipping, mitten hands with low res textures blurry enough to come across as fingers

Flowers so low res, in contrast with the yellow flowers which have some form of sharpening applied.

Yellow flowers appear sharpened compared to the red ones. Tiled stone texture all over the castle walls.

Ganondorfs arm texture appears mirrored from front to back.
In game, the two soliders are completely stationary.

What better wat to test new phone camera than using something that I rarely use: Reality Scans' 3D scanning. Scan quality is definitely better than my old phones~ (Then I made it low poly, because of course)

Yeah… We do get 6 months of health insurance. The life insurance disappearing on us is pretty terrible, though, and we’re following up with the benefits folks at Epic to see if we can port it somehow.

All the Grace poses and renders~ - I hadn't used transparency for hair in almost a decade, but it felt right to use here. Made her hair texture messier for her roughed up look. - I compressed the texture to have 128 colors to get a crunchy look and feel. - Guess I'll do Leon next XD
