Thresholds week 4. We are talking about fathers and patriarchy and my student who is a father is talking about the king of Cups with his newborn baby girl in his lap 😭

Don't miss my my talk at UBC on March 20 at 4:30 PM PST. This talk will engage the tarot as cypher for decolonizing consciousness. Within divination one can find a dignity that is denied in dominator culture. The cards are neurological pivots, subverting the logical dominance of society and self.

Lightseer’s Tarot by Chris-Anne Donnelly
Queen of Cups

A woman with red long hair and brown skin wearing a red tank top dress sits in a blue ethereal setting. From waist down she appears to be in the water with a bowl floating on the white wispy surface. Her hands are up and open, her head tilted back with eyes closed. Almost in a trance looking a state. A whisper of a crown is about 6-8 inches floating above her head.

The Moon is in the last decan of Aquarius , shedding its light as it prepares to be renewed as a new moon on Pisces. The Moon is in its own decan here.

The moon is in the last decan of Capricorn which corresponds to the 4 of pentacles. In the smith Waite image we see a strict and severely solitary figure. His material rigidity freezes him place and it becomes an image of constipation.

My prayers, my practices, and my spiritual relationships have gotten so much stronger since I began a divinatory practice, and moreso as I began teaching divination. If you are seeking sanctuary out of the bounds of patriarchal religion, I invite into TENZ, a year long course in decanic tarot.

“Ekklēsia is the term for church. It is an actual assembly of free people who gather to decide their own spiritual-political affairs. Women in the patriarchal church cannot decide their own theological-spiritual-religious affairs and that of ‘their people’, all women…

The last decan of sag is tiring because it’s Saturnian. It’s every resource spent to make it across the finish line. It’s land laborers & it’s land duties. Its ancestral reverence. It’s bodies that break to provide fresh fruit. It’s dry and it’s tired and it’s class consciousness.

Leonard Peltier was put on trial during Venus Rx in Aries back in 1977. The prosecution rest its case during the inferior conjunction (exactly opposite his natal Venus-Mars). Peltier received clemency this year + has returned to his homelands. Venus stations rx at the degree he was found guilty at.
