i think Data's Day has to be the perfect introductory episode to TNG. no real spoilers, has a good moment with every main character, shows off the professional atmosphere and the usual plot vibe (weird space mystery followed by tense standoff with basically no action).

im so frustrated. somebody made a pretty good virtual tabletop plugin for Obsidian, which is basically exactly what I needed, and it has most of the features i'd want from a VTT, but they built the thing using AI. which means it's almost certainly a buggy mess
