gonna take a little break from Y O U, been a bit burnt out on it lately. I'm gonna use this time to finish up Kick-Bell in the next couple of months since that game is almost done! It would be nice if I could finish it by December, but I'm not gonna rush it. if not December, than Q1 27 #kickbell

Aniimo has given me a new obsession. The furry bait is real and I'm swallowing it whole. He is perfect, I love him

I will scream this until my throat bleeds, he is so fucking cute. His personality is like a gentlemen, detective. He does the bow and curtsy. I'm gonna die

Uses the ring on his tail like a magnifying glass. Like furry bat Sherlock. God he is so hot I just can't.

Been playing Aniimo for 2 days now and I like it. Game is fun, nice people too. The furry bait worked and the game is good enough to have me stay for now

The reference vs the commission

Context- detective asked girl for a drawing of her mom

Detective being a closeted furry decided to make a fursona of the girls mom.

He is an ex-cop and now a door to door salesman for a reason I guess

evening all computer bluescreened again so I went for a lie down what did I miss?

pixel art mockup for a game. The screen is split into multiple sections, primarily composed of UI elements, with a central image depicting a figure with a ponytail sat in a hunched posture in front of a bluescreened computer. To her left, rain can be seen pouring through the window, whilst to her right is a kitchenette with a kettle and aeropress and a cat sat on the counter. The UI contains a character portrait, various stats, a list of "actions" which just endlessly repeats the word "panic" and a "console" section with an error message.

The image is mostly drawn with a simple 1-bit palette, with just a splash of blue for the computer's monitor and a glow in the surrounding area to draw the eye to it.

Been playing "Art Academy" for the 3ds and it's good at showing and explaining stuff. (This would be a fun game to stream)

This is the 2nd lesson, I didn't realize this was more expressionist style and not realism until the very end so tried too hard trying to copy and not capturing the feel of a tulip. Also I over blended too much.
If I tried again I know I can do better

This is was first lesson, I was kinda hoping I could flex my knowledge on the first lesson but immediately had me actually trying my best. I thought I'd be doing circles or lines not immediate colored still life's ;w;

I want to practice more often and who better than "Falvie" who inspired me to learn to draw.

Falvie has and always will be my favorite artists. It's her art I practiced when I was learning to draw.

It's actually kinda spooky how much using actual references helps. Also how much of her style I've internalized. Falvies are always feels so fun to learn from. It's a familiar style and feeling but she is just more refined and knowledgeable. I took liberties here and there out of preference. I've never really drawn much quadruped art. Animal anatomy is confusing

Leggies and shoulders are confusing.
Was very fun for not doing a digital drawing in months

Video games 🎮

A watercolor comic featuring the Pokemon Vaporeon. In panel 1, Vaporeon is taking a shower. Her eyes are closed and she's thinking, "I can't wait to play video games later." In panel 2, Vaporeon is standing at the counter at work next to a cash register. She is wearing a red apron. She is thinking, "I can't wait to play video games later." In panel 3, Vaporeon is driving home in a red car. She looks tired, and is thinking "I can't wait to play video games later." In panel 4, Vaporeon is in bed. Her eyes are snapped open in irritation. She thinks "Wait a minute." She has not played video games later.

Only had black and white paint pens. Mixing for shades. (Kinda used up all my white pen so it was a struggle getting the white I wanted)

I didn't really know what I was doing. This was all just spur of the moment. The head is nice, it was fun mixing the grey fur.

Drawing the tibbies was more just an excuse to practice shading white spheres.

Wanted to paint them so they had depth and shape. I think I did good. Bf says they looks 3d.

Ran out of white trying to get it, so I really couldn't nail the highly lit lightsource. It was one of those things where I kept wanting to do more but felt like I was messing it up so I finally had to tell myself to stop.

So yeah, big tiddies for shape shading practice

Self help :D

How do I describe this? I'm sick of being unmotivated and mopey, wanting to do stuff but not doing anything to help.

I just wanna grab myself and just beat myself with motivation "stop being a bitch! You can do this! You can do stuff! You are capable of things! Do something! Anything! Fuck!!"

But even after a thorough beating I'll probably still find a way to put myself down "yeah... this is fine...I deserve this, this is the only thing I deserve ;w;
