Can’t decide what’s more dangerous about this stunt - encouraging ppl to harass health care workers for clicks, encouraging people to “out” mental illness, or knowingly AI faking a severe HIPAA violation that could shut down a real facility proving real care to real people.

Also it’s really hypocritical to tell kids they can’t use it and then tell teachers they have to. His English teacher at least is pretty clear about it not being part of her class, period.

Yeah his teachers have said as much. Which he also hates. And I don’t want to minimize the pressure on teachers and how AI can be a way to relieve some of that. But there is no excuse for telling kids to use Chat GPT to “find” a reference image in art.

Although not at national photography contest level scale, I cannot tell you how upsetting it is for my kid’s ART teacher to be enthusiastically using AI to create handouts and encouraging students to use AI for “reference images”. Kid feels betrayed for real.

Fun fact I had my first technical wood duck sighting in a suburb of Minneapolis. I say technical because it was only after I zoomed in and blew up a phone photo I could say it was a woody (female). I didn’t count it until I had a true wood duck experience of a male just sitting in the morning sun.

Relaxed fit and bootcut/flare jeans were and are for a very specific subset of the population. I was part of that subset 1993 - 2003. I am no longer part of that subset. Besides I did too much therapy getting okay with skinny jeans to go back.

I saw a couple in northern Minnesota this summer. All I had was it didn’t FEEL like I was looking at a mallard. A lot of patient viewing and holding my breast to keep still later and decided it was a black duck because it was too dark and the bill wasn’t right.
