I don’t do this because if I’m romantically interested in you, I’m telling you that up front and expect the same. I would never approach someone saying I wanted to be their friend when I actually wanted to date. My process for relationship building is pretty much the same across the board, though.

I think the stigma of being a 25+ woman that isn’t married yet plays a big role in rushing marriage too. Women have been conditioned to believe they’re decrepit at 30. In reality tho, some of the happiest, most beautiful women I know are over 30, unmarried and living gorgeous lives.
