Anyone out there remember Ninja Kiwi's Fightland - Bloons TD Devs ... No? Well, it's already on Death Row, closing on January 23rd. This game hasn't been out for two months. Didn't even have a consistent player when it was on Steam, often was at zero players (when ignoring mobile).

We have some difficult news to share about Fightland.

After carefully reviewing the game's performance since launch, we've made the tough decision to shut down the Fightland servers. This isn't a decision we take lightly, and we know it will be disappointing for those of you who spent time playing, providing feedback, and supporting the game.

Fightland was an opportunity for us to step outside our comfort zone and try something new. Experimenting with a different style of game came with challenges, but it was an important creative step for the team, so we're incredibly grateful to the community for giving us the space to explore, take risks, and innovate. Your willingness to jump in and share honest feedback means a great deal to us! Even though Fightland did not spark with players, Ninja Kiwi remains committed to pursuing original IPs in the future, while for now, we'll remain focused on Bloons TD 6 and our new upcoming games - Bloons Blitz and Zombie Assault: Resurgence.

Even though Fightland didn't reach the level of engagement needed to continue long-term support, the passion and effort from the community did not go unnoticed. Every comment, report, and suggestion helped us learn and grow, and those lessons will carry forward into future projects. With your help, we also have a technically robust server simulation framework that we could apply to other IPs and games.

Servers will be shutting down on January 23rd, NZT. If you have any questions, our team will also be around to answer questions as best we can.

Thank you for giving Fightland a chance and for being part of its journey, no matter how short. Your support allows us to keep pushing creatively. We truly appreciate you being part of our community, and we're excited to show off what Ninja Kiwi has to offer in 2026.

A very long essay with four key points:
1. The video undermines the actual allegations to make Bones seem more sympathetic.
2. The Discord Server still planning to exist undermines his greed of making a community server that was Views First, Audience Second.
3. Slurs are a touchy matter, but if used, need to be under careful circumstance, and possibly avoided entirely as a large-scale content creator, even in low-attention situations.
4. In spite of his actions potentially not necessarily being transphobic (morally gray if so) - his actions nonetheless of enabling people to pretend being trans (and considering himself to do the same thing) undermines the hardships that transgender members go through in the process of realization as such.

Because of these four actions, I have chosen to stay away from future TheBones5 and TheBones242 Uploads.

Perhaps some things are best left forgotten...

Taking a shot in the dark, but I'd imagine the 2025 Reps past Etalus will be Absa, a new Earth Rep, and either Pomme or Hodan. Pomme as Air currently only has two reps (3 with Absa) and Hodan is the Hot *Springs* character. Elliana would be cool in 3D, but I know that'll be tough. #rivalsofaether
