Finished up the concept Talon for #HobbyStreak day 616; I did try a warp-y green tint on the claws, but it was distracting from the mutation and too much of a deviation from the army scheme so I repainted it back. Also started the base layers on the rest of the squad

Working up a concept proof of my Warp Talon scheme for #HobbyStreak day 614, which is looking good so far! I am wondering if I should vary the claws though - I'd normally do a basic lightning, but should it be green for the warp-yness?

Grabbed the opportunity and spraycoated my Warp Talons and their boss for #HobbyStreak day 613, then I spent my time experimenting with mutation schemes; I really want to get the daemonic element in so I think I'm going with something like this (poor test marine, he's been through a lot)

Gaining energy from the wonderful comments recently I powered through and finished my (ex)Atramentar Lord for #HobbyStreak day 612! The huge skin cape was a problem, being too big to be a single hide and quite plain, so I tried to add stitching and a (mostly intentionally) rough legion tattoo

Nothing as photogenic as yesterday for #HobbyStream day 608; did a little tidying of the desk and experimented with some EVA foam for basing textures.. it didn't go as I'd hope - more attempts planned! I did revisit my Atramentar Lord though to add some final details and prep him for spraying.

I think it's... done? The Little Monster may actually be finished for #HobbyStreak day 607! Painted in a bunch of details and spent ages just touching and retouching areas as they caught my eye, but I think I've hit the point of just fidgeting. Final step will be to varnish and get some beauty shots

Much less exciting than I'd hope for #HobbyStreak day 600, but such is life; I think I've finished the base! I like the idea of this thing stalking through ruins after some horrible, Nurgly daemonic event, so I added touches of broken buildings as if the ground vomited something up

The chopping hath begun for #HobbyStreak day 594! Starting with cutting down the big cannon-thing, and ammo feeds, from the Dakkarig to fit the Onager weapon mount. Which pretty much confirms this will be a Brigand. No idea where the giant melta will go. Figure that out after finishing gap filling

Started playing with bits for a new Wardog, which mostly meant an initial build of a Dakka Rig for #HobbyStreak day 592 Surprised how squat it is, but the torso looks tall enough to put guns at the right height (Khazad Doom for scale). I won't I get away with using it this stock though - lots to do!

Unbearable conditions today, but I managed to get the pending gaps filled and finish the basing for #HobbyStreak day 586. No idea when it'll next be reasonable weather to paint anything.

Spent most of #HobbyStreak day 582 converting a combi-weapon for the Atramentar conversion, which was super fiddly, but I'm pretty pleased with the result! I also spent some time going through bits for Night Lord-y pieces, but what I really need is lion shoulders... may have to pause for a while

#HobbyStreak say 580 and I have a vision! In the old books the Atramentar are described as wearing terminator armour that makes them nearly 3 metres tall and refusing to follow anyone else after Sevatar died... Sounds like an imposing Chaos Lord to me! Now to cram it onto a 40mm base
