Just picked up End of Abyss on the EGS. A very cool mashup of games and media. It's like an isometric horror Metroid by way of BLAME!, but you're fighting against Halo's Flood with a sprinkle of INSIDE vibes. The mood and audio is pretty spectacular too!

There are some decent looking TD games out there that have clearly had a lot of work put into them, but it's as if 100% creativity went into the game and they just stopped at the title. Mindboggling!

Apparently a bunch of people disagree with me on this, but I can't wrap my head around why tower defense games INSIST on having a regular game title, but then slap TD on the end. It's one of the only genres that puts the genre on the title too. You don't see "DOOM the FPS" or "Baldur's Gate the RPG"
