a friend asked me what a goblin in my fantasy world would look like. they're little homonculi who were born of a wizard fucking around some years ago and they breached containment. they have the average intelligence of a piece of cheese and subsist off of fruit.

a squat little lump of flesh with green skin and pointy ears. It looks sorta like a blob of dough. it has a cute pig's tail and its eyes are reminiscent of goat eyes. it almost looks like it's having trouble existing. it says "buh" and nothing more with its mouth hanging slightly agape like a sick child. its nose/snout area looks vaguely like a tapir's

digital bust-up pencil sketch of my character Candrin. he is a human with lycanthropy that makes his ears extremely pointy, but not in the same way and elf's are (in this world, elf ears droop outwards considerably).
he has a distant smile on his face revealing a little sharp fang and he says "I'm all ears!" in reference to something someone offscreen might have said to him, but also calling attention to the fact that he's got rather large ears.

he's a grappler/zoner hybrid with stretchy limbs and laser beams :3 his main thing would be that he's an extremely proficient zoner with ways to drag you in from full screen for a throw mixup when he has meter, but he has some of the worst defensive options in the game

it took a lot of work and growth on my end, plus figuring out she has undiagnosed ADHD, and it's definitely still a struggle sometimes... but I really can't complain too much. we also lost both of our dogs in quick succession this year, so I've been worried for her loneliness on top of everything

we watched through all of parts 1-5 together and it was a great bonding experience. when part 7 started releasing proper I just sorta had my Road to Damascus moment where I was like "I need to spend more time with my mom" and I'm glad it happened.

For the other five, Hraetnar likes wine and cheese, Lyuda doesn't eat but she adored caramel when she was still alive, Balthazar also doesn't eat, Spike fancies anything with cinnamon (bonus if it has chocolate), and Topaz's favorite dessert is whichever one she's tried most recently.

of the main 5 at the top, Candrin is rather fond of Cheesecake (though it does make his stomach upset), Willow loves fruit pies of any variety, Wolf's stomach doesn't really work well with sugar (so he opts for savory stuff), Kingsmith... doesn't eat, and Adriana is a sucker for caviar on crackers!

Sorta! I'd say it mostly goes down to instincts rather than anything serious (after all, Wolf isn't *always* transformed, and Adriana wasn't *always* a catgirl) but I'd also say that Kingsmith gets on her nerves the most out of anyone in the group. He likes picking on her when she's being difficult

Lyuda is actually a really interesting case! She's a fighter who supposedly came back from the brink of death with control over a ghostly halberd, but what she doesn't realize is that she's actually a ghost possessing the suit of armor she died in The halberd is her soul's anchor to the mortal world

I can't say much about his origins, but when it comes to his actual character I think what sums it up best is that he's always speaking in allcaps "LIKE THIS." and has a blunt attitude. He doesn't suffer fools well and if you waste his time he's likely to punch you. He's a great friend, though.

Willow's relationship to them is pretty central to the plot of the story! It starts off a bit flippant and her nature as a succubus really puts the two halves of the lycanthrope off, but eventually in accepting their affection for her they also learn to accept their own nature as a monster ☺️

The story of the hypothetical game doesn't actually revolve around a tournament! That said, that award goes to Topaz. She's a total outsider to the main plot, sent as a diplomat to the surface by the President of the Ocean. She got bored with that job so she just started picking fights with people.

He absolutely abhors cleaning up his space. Despite this, he's also a neat freak, so if you take up any space in his house with a mess that you intend to clean up later, he'll get very cross with you about it. He is, thoroughly, a hypocrite in that regard.

I see him playing very erratically with a bunch of unconventional tools and gimmicks. If I ever do get the time and funding to make this a real game, I'm going to design Balthazar to be a "Funny" character before ever considering his overall balance. Good or bad, he needs to be Funny.

Wolf cannot cook to save his life. His giant paw hands probably don't help that. Topaz would also start a house fire since she is new to the surface world and doesn't understand fire yet either. As for the best... Probably Spike. dude probably knows how to make a killer stir fry.

Adriana uses her bullets sparingly, primarily casting from the wand affixed to her pistol like a bayonet. When she does need to use a bullet, she'll cast a spell with the bullet as the carrier. Guns also carry the benefits of varied munitions, like silver bullets for piercing magic-resistant hides.
