We've eliminated a lot of the extra material that just causes more work without much kinetic energy exchange. Most of the kinetic energy is found at the outer portion of the rotor, where the speed is higher.

Our V2 generator is starting to get close to spooling up. You can see the energy being produced by the coils. Just moving the magnets past them produces electricity. There's a huge amount of energy in the rotors. There are 32 25 mm x 25 mm diameter neodymium N52 magnets.
