Still holding out for Ascendance to let Gore molt into either Chaotic or Shagaru in real time so you just see this accursed bright aura across the map that immediately instills primal fear and panic. “What’s that light?” “Oh just a demon accepted by the heavens.” “Oh.” “Why’s it getting closer.”

for all future nintendo direct reactors, if you see these things it's a kirby game

bourbons, the oval pillar structures from the kirby franchise as seen in the trailer for kirby and the world beyond

screenshot of the kirby wiki page about bourbons, including other names for them being "those things that are often stuck in the ground in dream land" and "those things"

screenshot from masahiro sakurai's "creating games" video about kirby's dream land, where he's going "what is it?" to a bourbon in the background

Frame One and it’s the Donut Hills from Star Allies with the Grasslands, Rocks, Mountains and Trees from Return to Dreamland. Average Nintendo Viewer: “Oh it’s GOTTA be Mario.”

As if Kirby couldn’t get more existential coming off of his last mainline game with Forgotten Land, now we’re entering the “reality and all you know is a lie” territory and I’m so ready for it LOL IM SO EXCITEEED ALWAYS BET ON KIRBY

the onimusha x monster hunter rise collabo comic is sending me 😭

ONIMUSHA'S NOT FOR THE FAINT OF HEART! #1

Yomogi: Now a quick foray to the World of Onimusha!
(After all, our cultures are similar!) (On Sale Now!)
Hinoa: The vibe is a little eerie though...

Hinoa: Huh... A roar?
(Yomogi: Is that a monster? Is it friendly?)

Genma: RRAARGHH!

Such intense bloodlust!
(Hinoa: Oh my.)

ONIMUSHA - NOT FOR THE FEINT OF HEART!

ONIMUSHA'S NOT FOR THE FAINT OF HEART! #2

Hinoa and Yomogi, who have come to play in the world of Onimusha-- ARE ABOUT TO DIE!
(Yomogi: Why did I come here?) (Hinoa: Oh my.)

Yomogi: WOW! THIS IS IT! This is one of those games where you can die if you get hit! (pulls out LBG and goes sicko mode) Does this call for a Yomogi Special...!?

Hinoa: Fear not. An Onimusha will come when the time is right. (It's a comic, after all.)
Yomogi: Oh! So quick! (Cool voice too!)
Musashi: HRRRRAH!

Musashi: FOUND YOU! GENMA SCUM! HYAAAAAAAAAAH! GIVE ME YOUR SOULS!

H&Y: Such intense bloodlust!

ONIMUSHA - NOT FOR THE FAINT OF HEART!

ONIMUSHA'S NOT FOR THE FAINT OF HEART! #3

Musashi: DIE, SCUM!

Hinoa and Yomogi, who have come to play, have met an Onimusha.

Hinoa: That was close, thank you! (So bloody...)
(Yomogi: Huh. They turned into light...)

Musashi: ONIMUSHA (ON SALE NOW!) IS NOT A GAME FOR THE FAINT OF HEART. GO HOME!
Yomogi: I guess so! Our worlds are just way too different. (Only the Japanese aesthetics were similar!)

And so, they returned, leaving outfits as thanks.

Izumo: Soooo cute!
Shizuka: Shall we try them on?

COLLAB OUTFITS ADDED TO ONIMUSHA: WAY OF THE SWORD!

Raiders is like such a breath of fresh air as someone who’s been with the Splatoon series for over a decade. Taking Salmon Run to the absolute extreme with total build customization, accessible for both single and multiplayer, and FINALLY giving Deep Cut some spotlight. This games gonna be hype

Like dude unless CAPCOM somehow just stripped away a chunk of budget from the Dev Team to prioritize Ascendance, are we ever gonna get a sizable postgame akin to Stories1 and Stories2??? Is this just sorta it for Stories3???

030

Cod_Fish @th3codf1shmh.bsky.social · 28/06/2026

Okay now that it’s been enough time. Dude the Stories3 DLC was like, not. not good. No Monsties is one thing but also explain to me why Royal Monsters are less of a threat than Invasive Monster Rematches. Which we also get VERY little out of for actually doing. Still no deviant fights and gear???

Cod_Fish @th3codf1shmh.bsky.social · 26/06/2026

But here’s the weirdest part. Literally how and why is Nergigante NOT a Monstie when he was obtainable in Stories2. Nor does he carry any armor or weapons. So like.. what are we doing exactly, CAPCOM?? There’s gotta be more to this, right???

Navirou confirmed got married w/ Pansy but has since been spending the last 200yrs. frozen in a crystallization state, and he really doesn’t seem concerned whatsoever that everyone from his time except for Ena are long gone.
