What did I change? I had a new cover created cause i never liked the one I created myself And i had an actual layout designer go through it to rehaul it. It looks and feels much more professional, without losing any of its original vibe @twopancakes.com is a true pro at what he does!

What's more, the offer they came with, allowing me to rehaul as much as i wanted of Goth Borg allowed me to create what I am defining as the "Definitive Edition". It doesn't say so in the game, but that's what my heart believes

By the end of it, i managed to turn over a product that to this day I'm still incredibly proud of. Goth Borg is a miracle and a true passion project that i created in my year living as a full time freelance game designer The person that did this didn't know how to do layout, and it still rocks

To sum up, I made 2 huge mistakes: 1. I was selling the full game at $2. This was a marketing decision, and i don't believe it's a bad one if you know you will have hundreds of buyers. But otherwise, it is EXTREMELY risky 2. I knew nothing about layout, and I placed the expectations way too high

Goth Borg was my first true high quality product that i did entirely on my own (apart from hiring a friend to do the monster art, and my then gf, now wife @ladyazulina.bsky.social for editing) A true passion project that, if i can be honest, was a crowdfunding failure.
