Just as a quick heads up, there’s a channel on Youtube called “Hoshi the Dragon” that posts AI slop storytime videos using a blue dragon. That is not me! That channel was created earlier this year in August, meanwhile I created Hoshi back in October 2024. Do not be fooled by this imposter.

Update regarding the Figment model: The rig is pretty much almost done, just need a few more technical bones. Also the render on the right is how I feel after losing a bunch of sleep trying to fix all the bugs with the rig. #figment #furry #dragon #derg #3DCG #blender #3dmodel

Figment’s 3D model now pretty much fully rigged with custom bone shapes. The root bone is shaped like the symbol used for the Imagination Pavilion at EPCOT.

Figment appears to be lying down dizzy, with yellow stars circling around his head. He is attempting to get back up on his feet, gritting his teeth even, but to no avail. His eyes are spinning in opposite directions to indicate said emotion.

Hm, I’ve never tested out the carousel feature yet. How about this? Give me characters to draw in the comments and we can see this in action! Just some rules: 1) Limit two characters per person. (Can be increased if turnout is low.) 2) Provide references, preferably in color.

#ToonJune featuring Hoshi! Day 30 (FINAL): That’s all folks! I want to thank all of you for supporting my work! Hoshi thanks you too. #toonjune2026 #hoshithedragon #toon #furry #furryart #dragon #derg #fox #snake #cow

A group picture of Hoshi the Dragon, Tango the Wooden Fox, Spaghetti the Super Snake, and Meatball the Super Cow posing within an iris. Hoshi is front and center doing his now iconic “peace” symbol with his left hand, and holding onto the iris with his right, smiling at the viewer. Tango is on the left smiling at the viewer as well. Meatball, who is above Hoshi is pumping her right fist up grinning with a confident expression on her face. Spaghetti is the only one not looking at the viewer, but rather Meatball as he is being smushed by her left hand. Below, a message reads the following: “Thank you for the support!!! It means everything to me!” Finally, there is copyright information stating that all characters featured are owned by Marshmallow House, aka me. (With the exception of Figment from Day 1, of course.)

#ToonJune featuring Hoshi! Day 29: Dance It takes two to tango, Tango! #toonjune2026 #hoshithedragon #toon #furry #furryart #dragon #derg #fox

Hoshi the Dragon and Tango the Wooden Fox are dancing together, specifically doing the tango. Tango’s feet are slightly elevated given that he is shorter than Hoshi. The two spouses appear to be blushing at each other as they dance.

#ToonJune featuring Hoshi! Day 28: Shock Now who would do this to the poor dragon? Oh well, he’ll be fine because of toon physics and all. #toonjune2026 #hoshithedragon #toon #furry #furryart #dragon #derg

Hoshi the Dragon appears to be being electrocuted as sparks run through the dragon’s body. His limbs are stiffly extended outwards as he vibrates. He has a shocked expression on his face, gritting his teeth while he’s cross-eyed. On the left is some onomatopoeia that reads “BZZT!” as Hoshi is being electrocuted.

#ToonJune featuring Hoshi! Day 27: Vehicle Sorry if this one’s more rushed than usual, I just now realized that today’s prompt was changed from “Dance” to “Vehicle”. #toonjune2026 #hoshithedragon #toon #furry #furryart #dragon #derg #fox

Hoshi the Dragon and Tango the Wooden Fox stare at what appears to be a car, but only the axels and wheels. Hoshi wonders where the rest of the car is, but Tango informs him that the artist (aka me) didn’t realize that the prompt for June 27th was changed from “Dance” to “Vehicle” due to the former being duplicated on June 29th. The prompt which was now set the 29th was already completed before this discovery, which is why this prompt appears to be more rushed than usual.

Dialogue:

Hoshi: “…Where’s the rest of the car?”

Tango: “The artist didn’t realize the prompt for today was changed, and ran out of time.”

Hoshi the Dragon appears to be falling at a rapid rate. His arms are extended forward as he screams with a shocked expression. Tears expel from his eyes due to how fast he’s going and his mouth is wide agape.

#ToonJune featuring Hoshi! Day 25: Explosive Kaneko delivers an explosive reminder to Tango, except she gave it to Hoshi instead. What was in that letter anyway?! #toonjune2026 #hoshithedragon #toon #furry #furryart #dragon #derg #bird

Hoshi the Dragon appears to be covered in soot with smoke emitting from his entire body. He appears shocked with a singular tear from his bulging eyes, letting out a cough. His scarf is also damaged due to the impact of the explosion, which had a self-destruct feature for some reason. (Is that even legal?) Kaneko, Tango’s landlady was the one who delivered said letter, however she informs the now burnt dragon that the letter was intended for Tango. She apologizes to the dragon and reminds him to remind his husband to pay the rent next time.

Dialogue:

Kaneko: “Sorry, Hoshi. That letter was meant for Tango. Next time, tell him to pay the rent.”

#ToonJune featuring Hoshi! Day 24: Dizzy Part 2 from yesterday, looks like his aim was off, and now the dragon whose name literally means “star” is seeing stars! #toonjune2026 #toon #hoshithedragon #furry #furryart #dragon #derg #dizzy

Hoshi the Dragon attempted to throw the soda can in the recycling bin, but missed and hit the side of it, which bounced off of it hitting him on the head. As a result, Hoshi is knocked over and becomes dizzy from the impact as stars spin around his head and his eyes spin around in opposite directions. He also weakly holds a finger up whilst sticking his tongue out. The soda can is now crumpled after hitting the recycling bin and Hoshi too hard. The recycling bin is also bandaged whilst digging into the ground.

Hoshi the Dragon is attempting to throw an empty soda can into a recycling bin. His posture seems good, and he wears a confident expression on his face, even sticking his tongue out as he does so! Will he successfully toss it in the bin, or will this trick completely backfire?

#ToonJune featuring Hoshi! Day 22: Stuck Whoops! Looks like Hoshi got stuck in this hole, can anyone help him out? #toonjune2026 #hoshithedragon #toon #furry #furryart #dragon #derg

Hoshi the Dragon appears to be stuck inside a hole. He tries to pry himself out using his arms, and appears to look strained doing so. The hole itself is being clogged by Hoshi’s tail, the lower half of his belly, and his large butt. His feet are dangling, with no soild ground nearby to propel himself out.

#ToonJune featuring Hoshi! Day 21: Hammer When asking for a lump, specify that you mean sugar. At least Hoshi will know what to do after witnessing his husband Tango receiving the other kind of “lump”. #toonjune2026 #hoshithedragon #toon #furry #furryart #dragon #derg #fox #bonk

Uh oh, looks like the tea became sentient, and the first thing it does is wallop Tango the Wooden Fox on the head with a mallet! This causes a pre-bandaged, spherical lump to extrude from his head. The impact was so hard that it vibrates him stiff, clenching his teeth, and even making him go cross-eyed. Hoshi the Dragon stares at his bonked husband, looking confused and worried at the same time. How did the tea come to life? Why did the tea morph into a hand? Where did the tea get that mallet from anyway?! So many questions the dragon has to ponder.

Hoshi the Dragon appears to be walking on a tightrope. He is attempting to balance the weight of his belly by extending his arms out wide. He looks down on his left side (big mistake!) with a worried expression. His whole body is trembling in fear as he has completely forgotten about the fact he has wings, which allow him to fly out of this situation.

#ToonJune featuring Hoshi! Day 19: Sandwich Part 3: The thing Hoshi was searching for was a… sandwich…? Now Splinter has to face her boss for wasting a fraction of company funds. (Note: Hoshi ate the sandwich immediately.) #toonjune2026 #hoshithedragon #toon #furry #furryart #dragon #derg

Hoshi the Dragon is holding a sandwich in his right hand, while making a peace/victory sign with his left. He seems to be pretty happy about getting his sandwich back. Splinter on the other hand has collapsed on the floor in bewilderment, now dreading having to face her boss after failing so miserably. She used just a teensy bit of the company’s resources just for it to amount to nothing in the end, given that the MacGuffin we were hyping up until this point was a measly sandwich. She, weakly says this: “I did all of that… for a sandwich…? How am I gonna explain all of this to Gobiborro?!”

#ToonJune featuring Hoshi! Day 18: Sneak Part 2 from yesterday: Hoshi finds himself in SCHLOP Co. headquarters searching for something. Gobiborro’s second in command, Splinter is on guard though, and her arms are quite dangerous! #toonjune2026 #hoshithedragon #toon #furry #furryart #dragon #derg

Hoshi the Dragon is sneaking around one of the floors of SCHLOP Co.’s headquarters, in search for… something. He has a stern expression on his face as he checks his surroundings. At the end of the corner is Gobiborro’s second-in-command, Splinter the Super Praying Mantis, guarding the building. She is peeking her head around the corner, with one of arm-beasts pointing towards Hoshi’s direction. Between them is a shiny, glistening, rectangular thingy. What is it, you may ask? #ToonJune featuring Hoshi! Day 17: Eyes Now what is Hoshi looking for with those comically oversized binoculars? Knowing him, it’s probably related to food. #toonjune2026 #hoshithedragon #toon #furry #furryart #dragon #derg

Hoshi the Dragon appears to be looking through a pair of binoculars in search for something. Are they comically oversized or is it the perspective? Regardless, the binoculars make Hoshi’s eyes appear massive, his iconic pie-shaped highlights reminiscent of the Fleischer Studios era of cartoons become much more noticeable.
