I have learned that I really can't effectively sample for a new design while writing up other designs. It is too much context switching for me. So instead, I started another Satisfying Stripes shawl, this time using @knitterkim.bsky.social Napoleon Sock. #knitting

Most of our date nights, for the more than 20 years that we have been together, have been dinner followed by going to the bookstore for a coffee and browsing and buying. In that time, I have seen the craft section get smaller and smaller.

My Ever Changing Moods Shawl is partly based on how I am tend to transition from one mood to another and how those moods blend into one another. You might say I am kind of a slow boil. This shawl is the embodiment of that idea (and a few others). #knitting #intothewhirled

Decided to reknit the brioche hat that I did over a year ago, making some changes to it so I can more easily get a range of sizes. Also, I am trying it from the top down. (I started it on dpns.) Would you go for a top down hat pattern? Or are you strictly brim up? (Or are you Musselburgh?)🧶

Gray brioche lace shawl with multi-colored spots that is inspired by the moon. The Edge of Darkness
(April 6, 2026) - As the Artemis II crew flew over the terminator, the astronauts described this boundary between day and night as "anything but a straight line." Crater rims along the terminator stand out as "islands" in the night. Giant chains of craters emanating from the 3.7-billion-year-old Orientale basin can be seen scouring the surface, stretching almost to the terminator. This tells a geologic story: these crater chains produced by the Orientale impact event mar the surface of the relatively flat Hertzsprung Basin (center of this image), which means that Hertzsprung Basin must be even older than Orientale!
