Working on the character art, and suddenly felt unsettled about Sigma Four... #AgentHiggs2
Five panel comic.
1. A happy character with wide unyielding eyes says: Why would I deceive you? There's no, there's no reason for me to do that.
2. A tired looking character says: Okay. All right. Okay. Good chat.
3. Tired character says: You're being real right now?
4. Happy character says I'm always being real.
5. Happy character staring more, without text.

So, yeah, there are many periodic tables. But *this* one is mine. (Well, in the fiction of the universe it's drawn by Sigma Four, so the real credit for design belongs to them I suppose.) Just some encouragement out into the universe: Keep creating. #AgentHiggs2
Periodic table poster in a very rainbow glittery style. Bubble letters at the top write out Periodic Table of Elements. It looks like you'd find it in a Lisa Frank trapper keeper. At the bottom it says: Presented by the Sigma Council.

A player found a bug in the periodic table in Agent Higgs 2 -- which made me take a closer look at it. I had left it very minimally drawn, because (a) it's small (b) not critical, and (c) drawing a periodic table sounded like a lot of tedious work. But that made it hard to debug, and not pretty.
Cartoony image of the top of a couple manila folders, labeled Gadolinium and Proton on the tabs. On the paper in the folder is a periodic table, labeled Element #64, the table is all blank blue squares, save one lighter blue square. Under the text says: I didn't know our lab was large enough to synthesize this nucleus!

Out now! Chapter 2: Nucleus. Neutrons, nuclear forces, and just for good measure, holes in the floor. Looks like these levels are (sunglasses) con-fusing. Good luck! testtubegames.com/higgs2.html #AgentHiggs2 #NoAI
Screenshot of a game menu screen titled Chapter 2 Nucleus. Two neutrons and a proton connected into a nucleus, one neutron off to the side alone, and an electron in the top. A mysterious character says: The nuclear force makes an unbreakable bond. ... or not?Level in Agent Higgs 2 titled Nucleus 12. There is a whole area in the lower right that's a hole, with Higgs perched in the hold on a small floor tile. In the upper left are four neutrons and four protons. A mysterious character says: Wow, Higgs, you really live life on the edge!Five blue characters in room with some sort of red alarm light across it, and varying expressions on their faces, ranging from scared to excited. In the middle, a bored looking character says: Here we go again...

Cartoony scene of a tall billboard shown outside among grassy hills. There's a happy blue character wearing a red jester's hat, holding out their arms forming a rainbow filled with particles: electron, muon, tau, proton, neutron. The top says: Welcome to the Wonderful World of Particle Physics. The bottom says: Now including the Higgs Boson. The area that would show the Higgs boson is mysteriously missing. The mysterious dark figure in a hat is nearby on a ladder, holding a roll of paper.

It's still Indoor Plant Week! Since it's not specifically *houseplant* week - let's look at something else from our house: a blueberry! We can see cells that make up the juicy bit, and colorful cells of the skin. But what's that mysterious bright purple? It was in a few spots... #ScienceHoliday
Blueberry cross section on a cutting board next to a knife.Microscope view of a lot of transparent cells that look fairly bag-like and inflated - with some small organelles visible in some cells.Lots of small dark red cells tightly packed next to one another. The look a bit like dark sand spread in a thin layer.Similar to before, dark cells, though a bit more zoomed out, and this time there's a roughly circular patch that's just glowing magenta and purple. It's unclear why that region is different.

National Indoor Plant Week goes on! Today I took a close up look at my Swedish Ivy -- it's been propagating for a couple weeks, and roots are growing! Under the microscope you can see a bit of a root tip, and tons of tiny root hairs! On the top side of a leaf, a bunch of red dots? #ScienceHoliday
Swedish Ivy water propagating in a glass, a stem with many white roots visible poking mostly straight out from it.Microscope view of a root tip. The tip is a slightly yellower color than the rest, and a root tip is sorta visible if you know where to look.Microscope view of a root, with central vessels visible and lots of very tiny root hairs sticking off the side.Microscope view of the top of a leaf with lots of small green cells, and white veins branching across the view. There are many tiny red dots on the leaf, about the size of a cell.

It's *still* National Indoor Plant Week - which means I'm *still* up to my planty tricks. I cut and propagated my FIDDLE-LEAF FIG (one of my OG plants, it had gotten HUUUGE) - which meant I ended up with some leaves to look at under the 'scope. 100x, bottom side, top side #ScienceHoliday
Circle of green with tiny cell speckles throughout and light green webbing lines stretching across.Slightly darker green than before, with white webbing lines (a few more visible than before). Throughout though are lighter dots that are medium sized.

It is NATIONAL INDOOR PLANT WEEK. Aaaah! Sorry. Okay. So. You'll have to bear with me, because this is gonna be a multi-day affair. Yesterday, our philodendron jumped off the shelf (yikes) and a leaf broke. Soo... I put it under the microscope... 40x, top side, bottom side. #ScienceHoliday
Top of leaf. Circle of pale green in a microscope - striped a bit like jupiter honestly. Not many surface features to see aside from stripes of different shades of green and a lot of lighter colored speckles. Can see some parallel veins, and juuust make out cells if you look closely.Bottom of leaf. Circle of green under a microscope. This green is a more saturated color, we also have parallel stripes of veins along it. You can see clearly though what look like lots of little circles on the leaf - which are the stomata.
