I never know what to expect with Alejandro González Iñárritu's  films. Sometimes they’re baffling, beautiful, intensely violent or blend fantasy with dark reality. Digger is something I could have never expected from the previews. Hilarious, yet disturbingly close to our reality, this paints a picture of not just a selfish greedy egotistical man who acts larger than life, but unfolds this story in careful layers that leave the audience disturbed, astounded and questioning our own timelines.
