The UK is only in debt because it Privatised everything. If Margaret Thatcher had never existed and we never privatised Oil, Gas, Electricity, Airports, Water, Mail, Rail, Rolls Royce, British Airways... We would have Trillions of Pounds and own everything, just like Norway.

The Welfare we spend too much on is billionaires. Now a person working in London 40 hours a week earning the Minimum Wage £28,392 a year pays 12.4% tax on their total wage. 12,590/28,392*0.28 Yet nearly 25% of people earning £8m or more in the UK pay less than 1% tax.
