📷 This NASA/ESA #Hubble Space Telescope image shows a dusty yet sparkling scene from one of the Milky Way’s satellite galaxies, the Large Magellanic Cloud. This is a view of the outskirts of the Tarantula Nebula 🔭 More info and hi res 👇 🔗 esahubble.org/images/potw2...

A section of a nebula, made up of layers of coloured clouds of gas, of varying thickness. In the background are bluish, translucent and wispy clouds; on top of these are stretches of redder and darker, clumpy dust, mostly along the bottom and right. Small stars are scattered across the nebula.

NEW HUBBLE IMAGE OF THE ORION NEBULA!!!! 🌌

An area in the Orion nebula filled with dark, puffy clouds. On the image’s right side is a large area of clouds crossed by a dark bar. The region glows in red and whitish colors lit by a protostar within. At the other side a large jet of material ejected by the protostar appears to be made of thin, wispy, blue, and pink clouds. A couple of foreground stars shine brightly in front of the nebula.

🆕 This NASA/ESA/CSA James #Webb Space Telescope #NIRCam image shows a portion of the Leo P dwarf galaxy ✨ 🔭 🔗 esawebb.org/images/LeoP/ #WebbSeesFarther

A portion of the Leo P dwarf galaxy (stars at lower right represented in blue). A bubble-like structure at bottom centre is a region of ionised hydrogen surrounding a hot, massive O-type star. Several spiral shaped galaxies are seen in the background of various colours.

With everything so seemingly terrible these days & no sign of anything remotely hopeful in the near future, I thought you might need this photo of a baby giraffe.
