If it's crashing as soon as the window opens, that might mean that by default it's looking somewhere that might not exist anymore or where permissions have changed. Search for File Explorer Options and set it to This PC if it's set to look anywhere else.

Late reply, but I think you said earlier you can save successfully as Admin? If that's the case, might be permissions related...have you changed anything with your workflow related to where you save files? Looks like 'Documents' in that image, can you try saving directly to c: drive, for example?

If you play games, you need to follow this couple. They find bargains and sales from all over the place and post them conveniently so you can shop anytime. And unlike a lot of sites, they don't just do Amazon, so you can order from a LOT of sources. I love 'em. Again, not paid, just love games.

I've used OneNote for many years, but I stuck with the Classic/2016 version so I could save notebooks to Google Drive (or anywhere) and sync it that way. That said, I've started playing with Obsidian, and it seems promising.
