I definitely believe that the wave is coming. Esp as we learn more about how harmful american football is & as money/viewership for soccer increases. It will continue 2 rise. Recess? American kids get out of school between 1-3pm. Thats a whole afternoon/evening to pursue whatever sport they want. Theyre not choosing soccer. If they arent pursuing football, basketball, or baseball then theyre probably working or online. Right now, our best simply arent choosing soccer.

Its odd because ALOT of Americans play soccer at a very young age. But, for a myriad of reasons, they get older and gravitate to the more popular American sports. But America's demographics are slowly changing so who knows? Maybe in a few decades America is a soccer nation.

All of the US sport academies, AAU clubs, and travel ball leagues are terribly expensive. What the commentator missed is that the USA's biggest, fastest, and strongest simply arent choosing soccer. Period. Maybe they will one day but today most of our greats aspire to reach the NFL or NBA.

Its happening alot here but its silly to compare the US men and women's teams. The elite male athletes of other nations play soccer. The US' elite pick other sports first. Its no shade to the fantastic ladies to point out that the USMNT has a very high bar to clear.

Its not impossible at all, mate. On weekends, WNBA games can be found on the major broadcast networks & on Wednesdays the USA network & CNBC carry double headers. I think other networks (Ion?) also broadcast during the week but youd have 2 check. Griping online is fun but so is a quick google search

The women's matches are just as compelling and their match times are actually more ideal! The Tiafoe marathon at Roland Garros was good but waaaay too long. If I can watch 2 sets, go mow a lawn, get in an argument about the Knicks, eat, nap, and still catch the 4th set.... the match is too long.
