Seriously. Apparently the last season was a banger but I didn’t care

Tekfox @tekfox.bsky.social · 05/10/2026

Also for clarity. I dont know him, or have interactions with them. I just dont understand the mob mentality around this and it may be unknowable

Tekfox @tekfox.bsky.social · 05/10/2026

What denotes someone as an influencer vs just being popular and having a lot of followers? I feel that you actually have to be “influential” to meet that bar or at least trying to be.

100

Tekfox @tekfox.bsky.social · 05/10/2026

Yeah. No algorithm means that anything like that was invisible to me

020

Tekfox @tekfox.bsky.social · 05/10/2026

Agreed there. I removed my account so I’m not there but i hear it’s a mess

110

Tekfox @tekfox.bsky.social · 05/10/2026

That and TikTok. Thankfully it’s minimal here

000

Tekfox @tekfox.bsky.social · 05/10/2026

But he was never an influencer in furry anyway so i don’t see how that applies. Folks assume a negative view because of where they came from and then turn around and throw literal fursuits at famous people like bbno$

100

Tekfox @tekfox.bsky.social · 05/10/2026

Agreed. But folks call him a fake or industry plant but the guy has bought 3 expensive suits, got tons of art and attends cons. Folks can be jealous they don’t have his resources but he has also pumped that money into the fandom.

200

Tekfox @tekfox.bsky.social · 05/10/2026

It’s coming from multiple fronts, you’re right. The last one is the saddest.

120

Tekfox @tekfox.bsky.social · 05/10/2026

Tldr: Boof is hated for reasons that are sus at best Boof gets new suit of another character from a fursuit maker Furs dog pile on maker because they dont like boof Maker has to respond with “it was an auction, i couldnt say no legally in my country” Rinse repeat with this artist.

Tekfox @tekfox.bsky.social · 05/10/2026

Yes, but this isn’t only on Twitter. I’m not on there and I’m seeing this via other socials.

010

Tekfox @tekfox.bsky.social · 05/10/2026

I’ve not seen it here thankfully. When/why did we turn into bullies?

We find some of the most interesting treats at Seattle’s yearly international chocolate con. I love experiencing these innovative flavors 🍫

Things have gone too far. This is the second person to get dog piled on for no reason. Regardless of how you feel about someone, that doesn’t give you the right to harass them and every person they publicly interact with. We were a community. Now, I’m not sure what we are becoming.

Everyone needs, at some point in their life, a friend/roommate that no matter whats happening if one says to the other “you know what I’m feeling” we drop what we are doing and both get ice cream. Sometimes you just need that person who will go along with the dumb thing and do it with you. Iykyk

We're 35 days away from our Extra Life charity marathon stream, and I'm SO FREAKING HYPED! We've got exciting new segments, expanded returning ones, and lots of little surprises! ^^ And fluffy critters. Like LOTS of 'em. :3c

I feel the same too. When it came out it was pivotal in my music journey and even still it holds as one of the most important albums of my life.

It’s impossible to have a bad day when you have coffee and a mug with your husband on it ❤️

It’s foxtober! This means by law you are required to give foxes ear rubs and tail brushes. Look. There is already a queue forming! ^^

Today a bunch of folks dressed as orcs showed up at the Seattle palantir office to drop off resumes. It’s funny because my office is in the same building 🤣

We got our @dragonroast.coffee this week and NGL this is, hands down, the best furry coffee that is actually sourced, roasted and designed by furries (no bs drop shipping). Check them out if you like coffee or maybe wanna get the coffee/furry/nerd in you life a lil treat

The engagement is definitely more authentic that is for sure. I do love that about Bluesky.

Tekfox @tekfox.bsky.social · 30/09/2026

I like the casual inspiration part. I should look to find ways to add that to my space as well. that may give me some satisfaction I’m looking for. ^^

010

Tekfox @tekfox.bsky.social · 30/09/2026

Well that one needs more attention

000

Tekfox @tekfox.bsky.social · 30/09/2026

I’m sad that it forced us into this mode. We could have had something interesting.

110

Tekfox @tekfox.bsky.social · 30/09/2026

Working on my dragon flag form. ^^

0150

Tekfox @tekfox.bsky.social · 29/09/2026

Does this just become a photo dump of things going on, does it shift to music, is it in consume only mode? Folks will say just post whatever and let it sort itself out but part of the reason I’m in this space is for engagement with folks and that metric feels quite low.

Tekfox @tekfox.bsky.social · 29/09/2026

I’m trying to work out what my relationship is with social media and how to approach it from a better place. I think a part of that is deciding what this should be. We have long gotten away from life updates of actual substance, as they mostly come through complaints or annoyances.

Tekfox @tekfox.bsky.social · 29/09/2026

I think there is an aspect of trying to normalize and fit in that goes on too, which is natural with younger folks who can be more hesitant to be publicly cringe (or even privately)
