I went to a pop-up holiday market and this white lady selling hand made ceramic earrings was proudly displaying the political message left by an assassin on bullet casings after a successful murder so that’s a bit of a data point for Where Things Are

Amazed that not a single person has mentioned the Animorphs books. I started that series when I was 8, which was the year it began. Looking back, eesh. My parents had no idea. But it definitely radicalized me and instilled a lot of my core values that persist to this day.

Hugs. Not sure how old you are but it sounds like you were stressing and the prof had just set up the quiz with a lot of default settings (time limit, warnings, etc) and let 'er fly. I've been on the backend. I have a lot of anxiety too so when setting up quizzes I try to be more considerate

I would love this. I have need of this, actually; my dad had about 200K+ books before he passed and it took more than two years to sort through them and now I have a storage unit that's entirely books. Bonus if the show sometimes sets up a little free library as part of the solution.

Well, the fabric of the universe itself is expanding. Like a balloon. There's not necessarily more balloon but if you draw two dots on the surface before you blow it up, they will be further apart after you do. And again, there is a lot of universe we can't see that is likely also doing this.

One of my favorite grassroots mutual aid movements is that of the little free library. Here is mine; I have both a pantry box and a library box. There are definitely valid criticisms of the movement (for instance, that they appear primarily in gentrified/rich areas and less elsewhere) but
