I do actually find concrete more soothing than grass. Green nature is strange and unsettling, the walls are so far away that you cannot even see them. The big light in the sky has no switch but at least appears to be on a timer of some sort. There are cows and sheep, which I don't approve of.

here is my hottest fandom take: the huge increase in epic length fics (100k+ words) and the demand for them, as well as the increase wordcount in 'short' fics is not *despite* poor attention spans and low literacy, it's *because* of those. longer unedited texts have more repetition and filler
