PCOS/PMOS friends! About a week ago upon recommendation from my endocrinologist, I added a Myo-Inositol & D-Chiro Inositol supplement at lunch to complement my twice daily metformin. I just went to shave for the pool, and I don't have a ton of hair on my toes for the first time since high school!

I've been with my current company 3-1/2 years, but there's not a lot of upward mobility locally (I would have to move states). Does anyone have any job leads in DFW? I'm willing to commute and/or move within the metroplex, but my husband works in Frisco and has a great career there.

Next, I will read The Good Earth for book club next Saturday! I began it yesterday to sample, & I had to look up its publication date bc it was giving me major John Steinbeck vibes. 1931! I love the writing already, and I haven't even gotten through the first thirty minutes of the book.
The audiobook cover of The Good Earth by Pearl S Buck. It is done in muted, earth-tone colors. In a flat style reminiscent of paintings, it depicts two peasant farmers with what looks like Asian clothing to my uneducated eye (I have not read the book yet). There is also a horned bull at the front near the man in a hat, and the woman in traditional dress is standing behind to the left. The landscape is mountainous. It looks like a dreary day. It isn't a happy book cover.

Spoonies, I really love the blue Neutragena hydro boost face wipes (not makeup remover wipes) for those days that my executive dysfunction wins out. Did not like the pink grapefruit cleanser wipes. I'm looking for a lower priced dupe!

We are making a recipe from an America's Test Kitchen cookbook called The Chicken Bible. Pan-seared chicken breasts with artichoke and spinach. We went to HEB for the ingredients because we used to get our frozen artichoke quarters at Central Market, but we had to do jarred quarters today.

Listening to The Cautious Traveller's Guide to The Wastelands by Sarah Brooks and having a difficult time keeping my attention on it until I realized it was taking too long. I moved my listening speed from 1.5x to 1.75x and then finally 2x speed, and it's much better. #books #audiobooks

I have the oven on so I can create a warmer environment for it to rise, but I've got to leave for physical therapy too soon to bake it. At the 1 hour mark, I'm going to cover in aluminum foil and put in the fridge for about 3 hours until I get home from PT

I think due to ear and tooth infections, and maybe related to my sinus surgery, I'm dealing with something like this. It is a pain in the ass. It's right under where my eustachian tube drains so it's not exactly this, but I get the same side effects. Maybe related to how my reflux goes to my sinuses

I will say that the creme thing was way too heavy, and I didn't put any mousse or gel in my hair, and this is about 3 hours after I showered. So it's a fallen mess. This is a picture from just after and you can see the potential.
Another picture of me with my blonde or maybe brown wavy hair that I'm trying to get curly. My green shirt shows cleavage and I'm frowning a little as I'm trying to find an angle that doesn't make me look like I'm showing off titty.

This novel is so smart, charming, and thoughtful that it definitely does not feel like @emilyraywaters debut novel. The depths it goes to weave grief and the complications of love is immense. The narrator does a fantastic job bringing the prose to our ears. Highly recommend!
