teebsbeebs.bsky.social @teebsbeebs.bsky.social · 15/09/2026yeah nobody thinks that the Mario Galaxy movie, despite being unwatchable garbage, is reflective of the whole franchise. That being said using that movie for slander is SOOOOO fucking funny lmao 000
teebsbeebs.bsky.social @teebsbeebs.bsky.social · 15/09/2026I do think about the tweet that was like "Sonic's competition isn't Mario any more, it's Paw Patrol" and while there is a nugget of truth in there I fail to see how like one facet of Sonic's marketing is reflective of the larger whole like some people make it out to be 000
teebsbeebs.bsky.social @teebsbeebs.bsky.social · 15/09/2026Sonic fans both think that the franchise needs to move in one specific way while also being marketed towards them. I don't think they're unique in this manner, but they're unique in how they post about it, for sure. 000

teebsbeebs.bsky.social @teebsbeebs.bsky.social · 11/09/2026I get SOME traction on Tumblr but honestly DA still blows it out of the water in that front. I imagine if you're in the right fandom and skilled enough your posts get forever traction. 200
teebsbeebs.bsky.social @teebsbeebs.bsky.social · 11/09/2026while the site is flooded with slop and slop purveyors, there's still a quite actively used site. Old pics of mine still get traction and faves which is not something I can say about the social media sites. 000

teebsbeebs.bsky.social @teebsbeebs.bsky.social · 08/09/2026there's a really good post on Twitter about how everything people hate about current AAAA games (detective vision, exploring protags old trauma) just happens to work extremely well with wolverine right as hating these mechanics become popular and I feel for the guy lol 200
teebsbeebs.bsky.social @teebsbeebs.bsky.social · 06/09/2026"they buried it for their anti big company message!" Bold of you to assume WB suits watch their products. Sometimes corporations bury stuff for "innocuous" reasons. I'm glad it got an audience but people treating it as a middle finger to WB is exhausting. It isn't that important of a film. 000
teebsbeebs.bsky.social @teebsbeebs.bsky.social · 06/09/2026Coyote vs Acme was pretty solid. But I also totally get why WB buried it. Most of the 3DCG is like, Fortnite tier in the movie. 200
teebsbeebs.bsky.social @teebsbeebs.bsky.social · 06/09/2026Unironically this port I think really opened my eyes to classic SNK. I don't think I played a game older than KOF96 until this dropped. 000
teebsbeebs.bsky.social @teebsbeebs.bsky.social · 06/09/2026To be fair, most people confused Bugsy as a girl strictly through the games due to his whole team being female in GSC and a slightly androgynous appearance, less so the anime. 000

teebsbeebs.bsky.social @teebsbeebs.bsky.social · 03/09/2026There's such a thing as good faith criticism but fandom has gotten too lost in the weeds. Criticism online in social media spaces very rarely actually gets to the developers/creators and is thus useless in my mind. 000
teebsbeebs.bsky.social @teebsbeebs.bsky.social · 30/08/2026Remember that TV Tropes very much is the site that is a big reason for the downfall of the internet fandoms. The overly sensitive, everything must fit into a box type of terminally online person was bred here. 000
teebsbeebs.bsky.social @teebsbeebs.bsky.social · 28/08/2026It sucks that Curry, Parton, and Cullen died, but they also all lived a good long life with lots of career victories and accolades and achievements. They're all something we should aspire to be and look up to. May they all rest in peace. 000
