Yesterday, I discovered @gitkraken.com MCP App while asking for something in the chat of VS Code. Really nice

For my "agent skill month" posts in october, I needed an editorial calendar with the related copilot sessions. So I asked github copilot to create a canvas for me. #GithubCopilotApp #GitHub

/ask (ot its alias /btw) is one of the slash command I've started to use more and more to ask a question to github copilot without interrupting the model thinking. Nice little tip. #githubcopilotapp

Swapped Netflix this weekend for “The Story of VS Code | Official Documentary” and have zero regrets. Whether you use it or not, its tech impact is wild: LSP, Monaco, remote dev, accessibility... If you work in tech, give it a watch. Great storytelling, learned a ton. 📺 #vscode @vscode.dev

When I started using GitHub Copilot App in preview a few months ago, it was to easily run and manage multiple sessions in parrallel. Now, thanks to canvas, GitHub Copilot can do anything. Here I'm using it to run in an Android emulator the mobile app I just developed. #GitHubCopilotApp #github

I stopped using GitHub Copilot App for a month and half because I stopped working with the arrival of my newborn. I've just reopened it today because I was curious, I am so amazed by all the changes. This new insights tab looks good and I can't wait to have fun with the customize section. #github

Now that it has become crucial to pay attention to usage with GitHub Copilot, it's nice to have this kind of detail about the context for a session. In case you missed it, just click on your session title in GitHub Copilot App.

I needed a SQL Server database to test something. VS Code mssql extension could create a local sql server container for me but it does not work with podman. The wizard to create an Azure SQL Database was glitchy. In the end, best solution was to use aspire, in few minutes I had my database ready.

Every morning, before the Daily Scrum Meeting with my team, I do a standup with GitHub Copilot CLI. Nice way to review the work done recently, what's still in progress, and resume to a previous session. #GitHubCopilotCLI #GitHubCopilot #GitHub

In my classes, I use interactive MCQs both to engage students and to automatically record attendance. Since the attendance data was scattered across several Excel files, I asked GitHub Copilot CLI to consolidate it into a single workbook showing attendance for each student across all sessions.

@vscode.dev just launched VS Code Agents App, a companion for VS Code Insiders built for agent-centric dev. Better Copilot session management, cleaner UI for AI workflows, nice worktree support, fast session customization. Still in preview but promising. #VSCode #GitHubCopilot #VSCodeAgentsApp

As I have only a short memory buffer, I tend to forget details about bugs or features I've worked on. So I appreciate being able to ask GitHub Copilot CLI about the sessions I've worked on recently. It directly queries its SQLite database to answer me, and I can even resume a previous session.

I had fun this week-end with GitHub Spec Kit. I started from an @aspire.dev Blazor+Minimal API template and built a Christmas Story generator for my almost 5-year-old daughter. First time for me with Microsoft Agent Framework and Blazor. GitHub Copilot did a good job. Aspire MCP is awesome #github

After getting used to Swagger UI, using Scalar as the OpenAPI UI feels like a fresh breath of air. Anyway, I'm still using mostly http files in my IDE or Bruno to send my requests, but it's always nice to see something different. #dotnet

Started using GitHub Copilot to update Azure DevOps work items — not for laziness, but for flow. When I’m deep in design, I stay in my IDE. Copilot + MCP Server = context, updates, no tab-switching. What felt like a gimmick is now part of my daily dev stack. Not perfect, but powerful.

Just announced and already in GitHub Copilot in preview. Hello Claude Haiku 4.5. Smaller model but supposed to be almost as good as bigger ones to code. Looks fast and cost one-third of Claude Sonnet 4.5. Interesting model to test. #GitHubCopilot #Anthropic

Taking notes: 📆 Before ➡️ Bookmark blog posts, videos and documentation pages about some tech, eventually write a few bullet points and a code sample 🕰️Now ➡️ Write my current understanding of something, the usage I have of it, my choices, and the why 💭 Tomorrow ➡️ Keep learning, improve my notes

At a time when everyone swears by their favorite AI, when many no longer see the point in writing blog posts, I take notes... Notes as I go along, on just about everything, what I learn, the tools I use (why, how, alternatives). Will it be useful? We'll see.

Every year, for my daughter's birthday, we make a cake in the shape of an animal. This year it was a butterfly in several colors. I wonder if my interest in bluesky has had an unconscious impact on this cake. Some may also recognize some colors from Microsoft Windows #bluesky #windows #cake
