As it turns out, many LG ringtones over the years were created by the Korean content company Neocyon. We don't know many specific names involved just yet, but this is an exciting breakthrough - getting closer to solving who composed all those VGM-y tones that get thousands of likes. :)

We finally have an answer to "Does Nokia's internal holy grail of HQ + unused ringtones still exist?". Unfortunately, Microsoft deleted them when transferring Nokia data to HMD Global upon the sale in 2016. I am truly disheartened by the devaluation of historical content.
