Democratic senators in the 117th congress really fucked up refusing to fight fire with fire by using the nuclear option to unstack the SCOTUS after Republicans used the nuclear option to stack it. It was existential, they blew it.

Just read an op-ed about the latest assassination attempt being more evidence of the normalization of political violence. Somehow these pieces always leave out political violence by ICE, or by Israel, or against Iran.
