iiinova — where your digital self keeps evolving

My comments are that education mirrors how an LLM functions to some degree and creates the homogeny that Eggers is so decrying. Which has long been the core reason why I disliked education, it breeds conformity. The kids just know this and outsource that to chat gpt.

No I didnt, I thought about it and was like, actually, it just better confirms my fears that educators are out of touch. Youre annoyance here is the equivalent of being an arse to a patient whos been through hospital, knew their care was wrong, but continue to be the arrogant doctor.

001

Yeah, you are. I tried to convey my thoughts and all youve really got for me is that you think my writing skills suck and I should shut up. And now you're backs up because I dare to talk back you. Not that id expect much different from someone who works in education.

000

Youre entitled to an opinion, youre also entitled to be corrected. Youre also entitled to argue with me. Go nuts.

000

Omg go on, keep it up. Gotta just go for put down after put down.

000

Cos youre being a dick. And you chose to be a dick in your first reply. Rather than a simple correction, although like I said, I still think hes out of touch despite still teaching.

000

Plus, plenty people in said industries can be well disconnected from the actual thing they're supposed to be doing. Its cool buddy, you may see outside your own box one day and allow others views rather than just crap on them. Hope you dont treat ur students like me when they dare to think though...

000

You decided to insult in your retort alongside education. I would have accepted it easier, although I still think Eggers is talking out his behind with this new info. In my mind its akin to Piracy. Cheating with ChatGPT exists because the current service of education is subpar.

Love having an educator try and silence me on a post about silence xD

"Lets get really mad when someone tries to talk about their experience of education and discredit them for it online - get back in your box student! Let me force you into one shape so I can prove how open minded the school system is" Thanks for proving my point. Laters tater.

Oh dear. Your words were doing well right up until you decided to run your own? We can all have opinions. I had to go through education. Maybe take note, the uniformity of how were taught in state education leaves lacking space for the kind of work Eggers is talking about. It moots the point a bit

I understand where he's coming from but it sounds like someone whos long disconnected from education. We are taught to read, write and compose in just one way... the freedom comes later.

I meant to also add, corruption in medicine too. Pharmaceutical companies being a big one, lies as fact dont breed trust from parents.

This would be a fine statement if corruption wasnt rife in research, peer reviews and has been routinely exposed. Greed has ruined the trust of the people and now we all pay the price. Its not the people vs intellectuals is the people vs the rich. Don't forget, greed ruins everything.

Im so glad youve got the joy of experiencing it for the first time now. Might have to go back and pick a copy up, for old times sake..

I can now announce I was on the jury for Artistic Achievement at the BAFTA Games Awards this year with so many other amazing artists in our industry. I am honoured to be chosen and contribute but I also enjoy the process thoroughly. Congrats to all the nominated! #bafta #baftagames #jury

Death Stranding 2 trailer is cool, but have I missed something, why Doc Deb got two right hands?...

Yes, you can occasionally get a Musk and sure he will go to Mars but by the end of it all you really just want him to go there alone and leave you and your civilisation in peace.
